It felt surreal to be standing here in front of her. Jack has pictured this moment so many times in his head, he honestly thought he’d never get the chance to do this again. After messing it up, at least a dozen times, Jack felt his heart shrink two time smaller than normal. He’s in love. He’s been in love with his best friend Sofia since the sixth grade.
“Sof…please just let me say this…please.” He pleads with her as he gathers the courage to say what he’s been wanting to say for over at least a decade now. “You are perfect…all of you. Your mind, stubbornness, your entire body, Proportionally, symmetrically. You are absurdly, mathematically perfect in every sense of the word.”
Jack didn’t realize he was getting carried away with himself, but he just couldn’t help it. He’s been holding onto these words for far too long. “I love you, Sofia. I have loved you my entire life, and I will continue to love you until my last breath. I know this might sound scary or even repulsive to you, but know, I can and want to be that person you can love and live happily ever after with. You are it for me, and always will be. Please....love me..”
