“Oh baby. Stop being so difficult.” Jackson sighed. “Fine, fine. Go on then. Keep putting things in the cart.” He rolled his eyes, trying to avoid looking at any of the tacky Halloween decor around them. “Buy whatever you want, little thing. But you’re decorating all on your own. I am not getting the tall things for you.”

The door to his lavish house opened as Jackson finally returned home from a day out, glad to just be back. He had left Esme at home, but had not forgotten about her. “Baby girl.” He called out. “I have some presents for you.” He loved to spoil her, seeing the girl get so happy when he got her things made the mans day. Jack was well aware that saying he had presents would probably speed her up on her way to greet him. He set the bags, littered with the names of fancy designers, at his feet as he shrugged off his coat, hanging it up as he waited for her to arrive.

Jack kissed the boy sweetly, smiling gently at the response he got. “I can give you a massage no problem.” He gently finished the boys bath. “There you are, cleaner than ever.” he stole another kiss from those sweet lips before standing up and grabbing a towel. “Come on then, love. Lets get you in bed so you can have you massage.”

The Alpha wasn’t terribly excited about the events of the day, especially one that he was waiting for now. His soon to be mate was late, and it was pressing on his every last nerve and he hadn’t even met the kid. Kid. He couldn’t forget that the omega he was being forced with was just a kid, a small thing that just barely presented as omega. He stood in his room, looking out the window, hands in his pockets as he heard the door open. “You’re late.” He said firmly, turning to finally look at the boy that would be his mate for the rest of time.

“It was nice having your mothers over for dinner.” Jackson hummed against Bambis shoulder, His arms were wrapped around her small waist as he kept his little lover safe in his lap. It had been a busy and draining holiday weekend and he was just happy to have a quiet moment with her. “Did you have a nice weekend?” He asked, hand sliding down to rub gently and comfortingly on her thigh.

“Just something new, darling.” Jack had the leash in one hand, held loosely as the other let his fingers card through the soft blond hair of his. “You look so pretty in your new collar.” He hummed, using the grip on his hair to pulled his head back for a better view. “Do you not like it?”

“How’s my baby girl?” Jackson cooed as he leaned over the back of her chair, placing a soft kiss on Summers shoulder. He had spent the whole day at home and yet had barely seen her, he was trying to rectify that now. “Did you have a good day?”

“Darling, you’re sick. Of course I’m going to stay home and take care of you.” Jackson said gently, but there was a hint of in-credulousness in his tone. He was surprised Noah thought he would abandon him when he was this ill. “You’ve barely stopped throwing up all day, you’re running a fever. You’re not being left alone.” There was no room for arguing now. Jack was still in bed, dirt tired after being up all night taking care of the other. He only had a few minute of sleep here or there, too nervous to actually sleep much. 

He was still in his pajama bottoms, the shirt that he had tried to put on at some point was now in the wash, as was Noah’s PJ’s and their sheets. Now there was a fresh pair on the bed. “You should let me help you in the shower.” He urged, knowing the other had refused since he was feeling too weak to stand. “You know I don’t mind, love.”
