no but the way everything infinite says is so fucking telling of how he feels about himself and what’s happened to him </3

“the strong will always vanquish the weak; you have only your own frailty to blame.” listen to me i am talking directly into your ear right now. TELL ME that you can’t also interpret this as self-blame in reference to the jackal squad’s deaths. the strong: shadow. the weak: himself and his team. you have only your own frailty to blame. girl. girl help. like... it checks out. this is more than anger toward shadow that he experiences, more than a tantrum, in the dlc -- it’s the culmination of a preexisting inferiority complex and likely trauma, everything coming to head as his entire squad is wiped out (another surely traumatic event) and he, their leader, is too weak to save them

“friends are nothing but a fleeting illusion; you can count on nobody but yourself.” an edgy remark on the surface right. okay okay but hey. let’s talk about grief. grief manifests in many ways and, actually, anger is a common response; toward not only the circumstances and a potential perpetrator, as well as the self, but also toward those lost. it may not be necessarily logical and feels pretty wretched, but it’s a very real thing that happens. this quote isn’t insinuating infinite didn’t care for them, i don’t think... rather it’s the opposite. it’s a “why did you leave me on my own”, a “you can’t rely on others, because you’ll lose them.” it’s a comment that screams to me as him having adopted this mindset as a means of self-preservation/protection, as the reality is he likely feels incredibly vulnerable, and like he has to be self-sufficient and strong, now more than ever.

anger is active, and feels empowering, like you’re more in control, something that infinite craves desperately and will chase to dangerous lengths, but sadness, sadness feels passive, hopeless. i believe this is the core of infinite’s character -- whatever is going on with him, which seems to be a lot, he is not able to cope with it, resulting in him crafting this persona for himself, someone stronger than he feels. infinite’s character is so much more than just physical masking,, i think there’s a distinct lack of sense of self within him, too. he defines his existence by the pain he’s endured (”i was born in this pain, it only hurts if you let it” / “this pain persists, i can’t resist -- but that’s what it takes to be infinite”), refers to himself as a weapon. bro idk idk. i’m not trying to say he’s a Good Person but i think there’s more depth to him than ppl say there is. or maybe i’m just. a little deranged. it’s fine. i’m so normal right now. there’s way more i could say but my brain is buzzing so this is what you’re getting send post

how yhe fuck are you fully blind??

hi! so what i meant by fully blind is not being able to see from both eyes / my vision being extremely poor / whatever (weird eye condition, still don't know what it is), i didn't mean that i can't see anything at all. i'm sorry for the confusion!

blindness is a spectrum, a lot of blind people can actually see through their eyes, blindness isn't just not being able to see anything whatsoever. i am still considered blind, i plan on editing the post i made to word it better!!

rivers (i have very fond memories of me and my mate playing in them last year during pride, so i'll always be biased towards them)

forests for sure!! i love getting lost in them and looking for tracks, recently i saw a deer up close for the first time in the favorite part of my local forest, it was so wonderful

i honestly can't decide for this one. but my preferences in order (dislike the most to like the most) would be winter, spring, summer and fall. i enjoy all seasons for different reasons though :03
