OMG I do exactly the same. So far one person actually realised that I’m not straight, but it doesn’t seem like anyone else notices it. It’s kinda… interesting.
It's actually kinda fun, isn't it? Like, all of my old friends at my old school knew I was pansexual (well, they knew I was bisexual because I was outed by somebody before I was ready but pfft details) and so for me to talk about girls was pretty normal. But a couple of months back I was talking to one of my new friends and I was like "oh and my ex girlfriend said..." and she was like "wait did you just say girlfriend??" and the look on her face was just priceless. I just nodded and carried on talking. There was also this one time we left a coffee shop and I was like "holy crap that barista was cute" and my friends were like "ooh which one?" and when I pointed to one of the cute female ones they were like "...ok"
