Okay so I'm really proud of my little brother and sister
I was watching Will It Waffle? On YouTube with them and Jack was waffling popcorn and what not. And at the end of the video my sister was like is that a boy or a girl? And I said he’s a boy. She just kind of looked at me like I was shitting her and I explained to her that Jack was born a girl but felt like a boy so he is a boy now. And sis was like so he is becoming one? (Weeks ago I had explained to both of them about the process and whatnot) and I said yeah. And they were both totally chill with it. None of that “but she was born a girl so she is a girl” they both got it and were totally okay. They were saying the right pronouns and what not and it made me really happy to see that at such a young age they understand things like this and don’t judge people for it. Anyway if a 9 and 11 year old can understand and accept that then it can’t be that hard for some adults to.
