Concealed Fears and Close Friends, chapter 6

A Hogwarts Mystery rewrite featuring my MC. Year Three.

Chapter 6-Jacob’s Story (Part 1)

It was hard running with so many bags. Lili even went against her earlier teasing and took some of Rowan’s Honeydukes bags so her friend carried less weight and could run faster. Eventually, they managed to catch up with a group that was walking at a steady pace.

Lili sniffled. She wouldn’t cry, not in a place so public. It would be so embarrassing.

Rowan touched her arm. “You okay?”

“That was my brother’s,” she said helplessly, as if that could explain everything she was feeling.

Rowan nodded. “I know.”

“How-how can I get it back?” Lili blinked repeatedly, hoping tears weren’t visible on her eyelashes. “Snape hates me, and he hated Jacob. He won’t be any help.”

“I don’t know. Maybe Professor Dumbledore would help.”

“I don’t want to ask him,” Lili said maybe too sharply. “I want—Tonks!”

Jacob in an au where he lives (or an au where he never looked for the vaults if you ignore the scars). He always wanted long hair but his mother hated it on it and had a tendency to yank on his hair when it got too long, so he kept it short until he moved away.

The au where Jacob never looked for the vaults. He graduates Hogwarts, takes Lili away from their mother, and the two of them move in with Madam Villanelle. Jacob works at Flourish and Blotts for room and board.

And then Lili because she looked terrible in the other doodle and I felt bad lmao
