Jamaican Style
This bold explosion of colour is by Toronto’s JACQUIE COMRIE. She has done equally beautiful work all over town and this piece can be found just a short distance away from the Art Gallery of Ontario (hint: first laneway north)

A Streetcar Named Toronto
The Toronto Transit Commission is phasing out the remaining CLRV streetcars after 40 yeas of service. In honour of this, five artists were commissioned to send this particular car, #4178, off in style. It will be on display this Saturday, Sept 28, at the Roncesvalles Car House and then travel the Carlton line most days, with trips on Queen Street on weekends. All of the last of these cars will then be out of service as of the end of the year. Hope you get a chance to ride it! Beautiful exterior art work by JACQUIE COMRIE, whose work I have featured previously. More photos to follow.
