I saw a post that said you're a professional comic letterer! that sounds so cool!! does that mean you letter all the dialogue, or is it more of a "special effects" kind of focus? :3

Both! I do like 3/4 translated manga/manhwa and 1/4 original English graphic novels. A lot of stuff like this:

ISAT looks neat, what’s it about?

ah yay!! basically, it’s about an introverted, depressed, forgetful guy (siffrin) who gets stuck in a time loop and their whole journey of trying to figure out what could have possibly caused it in the first place + repeatedly failing to realize what they must overcome in order to get out of said time loop as it starts to wear down on them. I love it especially because the main characters are all really really well fleshed out and their individual backstories and conflicts are all beautifully touching and make me have many many many emotions

anyways, here’s a more detailed propaganda-y rundown of the actual premise that I very conveniently already had put together from a different ask if you’d like:

In Stars and Time is a turn-based rpg that follows Siffrin and his four companions, a party of adventurers very nearly at end of their journey to defeat a mysterious king who is attempting to freeze the entirety of the country of Vaugard in time. At the start of the game the five of them have only recently arrived in Dormont, which is not far from the house where the king is, and it is the last day before they set out to finally face him. but. oh no! come the next day tragedy strikes, and siffrin dies within the first few rooms of the house, nowhere near defeating the king. but then… he’s back? where he woke up?? from a nap just yesterday??? what????

timelooping ensues, along with lots of really bad great puns, fatal snacks, rock paper scissors!, getting heckled by a really annoying ethereal being, headache-inducing research, devastating misunderstandings, and wayy too much more to list. it’s all totally great! everyone’s great! there are absolutely zero dire consequences that come with reliving the same two days over and over and over again and being able to fix your every mistake with no one the wiser… right? right!

so yeah :D I hope that makes sense? cause that is what had completely taken over my brain like two months or so ago and still has a lasting hold on me. and if it sounds interesting to you, I must recommend checking it out for yourself because it is truly great :]

I recently wrote a meta that I was worried would make it seem like I was hating on one of my faves, so I just said in the tags that I thought it was neat and that I love the character. The fandom response was good! you should take the leap and write that meta! :)
