I like how both Nick and Jaden have complained about how none of the women who like them are normal - not "no women like me," but "only weird women like me." I feel a bit bad for Jaden, who I think is actually attracted to women to some extent, to not find one that he can connect with because he does seem rather lonely, which probably contributes to his issues. I think Nick, who I am not convinced is attracted to women, at least not exclusively if at all, is more just looking for an optical wife. Whatever the case, the most I can say is "what do you expect when you act like that?" They clearly find attracting crazy to be worse than attracting no one, but of course the way that they act attracts crazy.

If she didn't say she was from Minnesota, I'd think nila_moon was secretly Brittany Venti, considering she's a mixed black girl who loves Jaden.

I wasn't surprised to learn that nila_moon discovered Jaden after his days with Nick because she seemed to believe him when he said that Nick was the one who ruined all of his academic and career prospects.
