Zandris: Scrounging around the crooked corners for new articles of clothing or at the black hoods bar, seeing if he can getsomeone to get him a juicebox.
Kirrill: Working, more research more reading,anything to keep his mind busy.
Zuberi: Go for a brisk run, take a dip in thepool by his encampment, sit and watch the stars and think of home.
Venyar: …ahem. (He’d masturbate, findsomeone to spend the time with or smoke..probably all three if he could.)
Jakaran: Spends his nights watching over theswamps, he takes his sleep during the day when Toadie takes over theswampwatch.
Lyrell: Smoking his cigs, cleaning his gunsand reading over the offers for work. Such a busy bee.
Is there a certain scent that brings about nostalgia? If so, describe a memory this scent brings back.
Zandris: The smell of the inside of a hollowedout tree. You know, that odd earthy scent that clings to the throat? Remindshim of home, of the shadowy figure of his mother. Long hair and a cloyingscent. All he can remember sadly.
Kirrill: The scent of electricity. Does electricityhave a smell? To the grump it does, a harsh, hair raising scent that remindshim not too fondly of several experiments.
Zuberi: The scent of oncoming rain remindshim of the big thunderstorms and flashfloods that used to occur back home, andhow his tribe would prepare for them.
Venyar: Saltwater and brine, remind him ofhis village back on Arboria, where seaweed and driftwood were used to buildtheir houses. How he actually got into building things.
Jakaran: Incense of any kind reminds him of long nights of ritual andbone reading with his clan, peaceful and attentive.
Lyrell: The scent of gunpowder. The firsttime he ever handled a pistol, the scent making his spine tingle and the hairson the nape of his neck rise. True love at first scent.
Each of your aurin have such unique designs that set them apart from other characters. How did you come up with your concepts for each of them? How long did it take (or how long has it taken) for you to come up with them and get to know them?
Hoboy. This proooobably won’t make alot of sense. BUT I WILL TRY.
Zandris.
Zandris was my first character and the only character I kept from Beta. As such he didn’t originallyhave a personality as I haven’t roleplayed in an mmo all that much before(SHOCK HORROR). Once I stumbled upon the rp community however, his personalityslowly leaked out. There was no conscious thought or decision behind hisdesign, it was more like “He has the long hair on his character model. Heshould have long hair..” bewm suddenly he has long hair. “He doesn’tlike people touching his hair, how would they get it cut?” bewm suddenly it’seven longer. Zandris ended up being alot of trial and error and only really hasa few different things that separate him from the general populace of wildstar.I am still getting to know him quite a bit, as the little bugger is rathersneaky! >8C
Kirrill.
Kirrill was alittledifferent in that I was already rping a character that was happy, go lucky andtouchy. So I wanted to flip it. Completely and utterly. I wanted a characterthat was angry, that was sullen, and that hated being touched. I knew it wouldbe a challenge for me to rp, as I’m more Zandris minded than Kirrill minded. Iwanted him to a have a reason, a big reason as to why no one was allowed totouch him and why he was just generally angry with everything and everyone. Cueme reading about laboratory testing on animals by chance the next day. Bewm.Backstory out the wazzoo.
His design came aboutwith me wanting to use one of the coloured skins for the aurin, and at onepoint he was actually going to be green! But nope, he ended up being blue. Hishair came next and flicking through the hairstyles I found the hairstyle I nowuse for the majority of the character models for aurin. Next came the colour,the darker tones left him looking washed out or weird, so he got white. Whilethis looked rather nice, I needed something that’d make him ‘pop’, and he endedup having those pretty orange eyeballs @w@. With him being so many coolcolours, my immediate thought was snow, which then shifted from snow to snowleopard. It is only recently that I have considered making him more akin to aPallas cat or an Andean Mountain Cat.
Zuberi.
Zuberi’s conceptdesign was not as well thought out as one might think. I adore cheetahs, alwayshave, however the secretary bird part of his makeup was me actually reading anarticle on the strange way some animals hunt…or something along those lines. Zuberihas been the most giving in terms of sharing his back story and how his tribeworked and has a rather mellow, calm personality. His shoulder/arm tattoo is amayan tattoo I have tried to incorporate into a character before, however thatcharacter never really made it off the ground. The rest of his tattoos arerather simple tribal marks. His height was rather..premeditated, as cheetahshave long legs for running, while the secretary bird has really long legs inproportion to the rest of it.
Venyar.
Can you say cheshirecat? I wanted a character that was flirty, fun and heavily into the vices.Drinking, smoking and drugs. Everything else just kinda…evolved from there.Alot of Ven’s concepts have been snap decisions. Just… a thought would pop upwhile playing him and BEWM it’s now canon. He was the least thought out yet herolled with it. I’m still getting to know his eccentricities, yet the more Ifind the happier I am about him.
Jakaran.
Was originally made tojust be in the Fen Warders, as Zandris does not like water so would not belegible. As such, the only thing I knew about him was that I wanted dreadlocks,as when I’d drawn Toadie for @aurinofthewild I had enjoyed doing them. He’staken awhile to get a feel for and get to know and he’s still a major work inprogress as it were.
Lyrell.
Was funnily enough,originally made to just level with some friends. He didn’t have a backstory, oranything other than he thought arwick was a dick and that he was genderfluid.It’s only been the last few days that he decided to invade my thoughts and waslike “I want this this and this OH AND THIS”. So I’ve been the onerolling with things xD
You will notice, thatI try and give each character a different earstyle on their ingame models, itseems to help alot with their character personality and concept and I don’tunderstand why.
I used to createcharacter designs for the fun of it, most didn’t have backstories or anything,just the conceptual design, so I guess that’s why I have so many that are sodifferent? I just roll with it moreoften than not x3
I also try and maketheir personalities very different, as it helps me keep them separate in mymind and challenges me each time I roleplay them. HOOOOPEFULLY this answersyour question ^w^;

I love you but goddammit.
* Zandris can and will steal from people. He’s grown up around thieves and orphans on the streets, and has gotten very good at palming things from other people’s pockets and bags.
* Zandris’ eyes arehighly reflective at night time, giving off that creepy cat glow.
* Zandris usually hastrouble with people’s names, as such he will shorten them or pick and choosecertain vowels to use. Aka Rhilyn is Mama Reeree, Valkurius was simply Valk,and Damande became Day.
* Zandris has been known touse rather smart words and phrases for someone his age, yet only when he talksabout being a prince and overseeing his ‘kingdom’.
*Zandris was originallynineteen and a punk, yet the first time I roleplayed him he kicked his feet andsuddenly he was eleven and adorable as fuck. I still don’t understand how thishappened.
*Venyar when he’s feelingindulgent will make himself up a salt bath and soak for hours.
*Venyar does not have avery strong offensive capability when it comes to espernetics, even his abilityto defend is rather mediocre. What he excels in is his empathetic ability,something he is extremely bitter about and goes out of his way to get rid ofand not feel.
*Venyar surprisingly israther lithe. The male has alot of lean muscle and very little body fat, thanksto hours of constant work building and constructing.
*Venyar has a second set ofeyelids, used when under the water, as such, he can see under the water as wellas he can above it, if not better.
*The feedback and utterassault on his mind from the ravaging of Arboria has left him ratherunpredictable on how he will react to certain stimuli. As such, he does hisbest to control a situation, making sure it’s what he wants or is an equalpartnership between him and the other person or persons.
*Zuberi shuffles his feet alot.This is odd for most to see, as he will even lift a foot a certain level beforedropping it back down without taking a step. His people used it in conjunctionto the noises they made in order to show words and how they were feeling.
*When it comes to bodylanguage, Zuberi is an expert. Even the slightest twitch from another persontells him several different things about them to him.
*Zuberi’s eyes not onlyreflect light, but have a slight glow to them in the dark.
*Zuberi’s headfeathers areattached and do not moult. Pulling on them is akin to someone pullingfingernails out with pliers. The feathers on his tail however moult and growback rather regularly, and it is not uncommon to see him with a great many onlyto spot him the next day with only a few.
*Zuberi has three visiblescars, the others too fine or minute to really notice. One he received onArboria; a thick, small scar that cuts through his left eyebrow. The other twohave been received while on Nexus; A large bite mark on his right side, at thejoint between neck and shoulder, and the other a thick, long scar just underhis right shoulder blade. The one under his shoulder blade is still rather new,the skin shiny and taut.
*Jakaran believes ratherstrongly in the weave and sees it in alot of things and people, yet he is notvery outspoken about his views.
*Jakaran likes to think hedoesn’t have a favourite ‘sibling’, as he tries to keep it fair, but he adoresJaxii who actually ended up living with him. The lazy bum.
*Jakaran was and still is arather ferocious protector of the swamps. On Arboria he cut off a draken’s armswith his sword and left her for the swamp to swallow her into its embrace.
*Jakaran enjoys grossingout his other swampies and play wrestling with them, he will let themwin….eeeeevery now and again.
*Jakaran’s metabolism isridiculously high, and as such he is constantly looking for something to eat.He has been not so affectionately called “The blackhole with legs” ashe’ll eat anything to stave off the hungry feeling. Five helpings of gumbo? Wasonly five because he got told off for going for more.
*Lyrell joined FCON becausehe thought it would be much like when he was fighting on Arboria, however backthen he was in a small guerrilla force and not in a large company.
*The only reason Lyrell wasdishonourably discharged instead of killed on sight for his fuck up was becauseit was judged to have been an accident instead of an attempt.
*Lyrell’s home is not meantfor anyone but himself, as such it is full of different levelled compartments with netting and ladders to get from room to room. None of this stairs crap.
*Lyrell favours sniperrifles over any other gun, however is partial to old fashioned duelling pistolswhen in…closer quarters.
*Lyrell has worked for boththe dominion and the darkspurs before, both under different nicknames, and withseperate ways for them to contact him should they wish for his services again.The dominion that hire him never get facetime, nor do they actual hear his realvoice, a modulator used to distort it.
*Kirrill learnt a greatmany things from the experiments done to him. Not just how much his body couldhandle, but also his mind. When he feels himself reaching that point he willimmediately retreat from the situation unless he physically cannot, or is tooangry to realise.
*Kirrill employed hisobservation skills very early on in his life, which was how he learnt nexiancommon while on the research ship. Reading and writing though, was something hehad to learn once hitting nexus, doing so with great gusto.
*Kirrill’s reasoning’s forbeing a scientist are complex. On one hand, science, and the pursuit of it, iswhat has made him the way he is, on the other, knowledge is power, and herefuses to ever feel powerless again.
*Kirrill is no longer ableto drink alcohol thanks to his medication, however he will do so from time totime, when the stress of the day calls for it. He’ll regret it the nextmorning, but while inebriated he is at his most relaxed.
*Kirrill’s been told thatsome of his scarring could be fixed with surgery, and has thought heavily onthe matter. He will always say no however, as he refuses to be put under, norsurrounded by medical personnel in that kind of capacity ever again.
1. For a long time Kirrill got irrationally angry anytime someone mentioned the weave, as he believed in it as a child yet it did nothing to save him when he needed it most. (He’s rather bitter towards any religion really.)
2. Zuberi’s tribe was highly nomadic and had several campingspots across the savannah. While on Nexus however, Zuberi only has one campingground, in hopes that eventually someone from his tribe will stumble across it.
3. Venyar will flirt with absolutely anyone, be it aurin,human, granok or mordesh. He can be rather heavy handed with it, however shouldthe person ask him to stop he will straight away. He does not wish to leave abad impression, just have a good time.
4. Kirrill finds soft textures fascinating, as he didn’t getmuch of a chance to touch such things growing up. It is not uncommon for him topet his own tail in public with gloves on and for him to touch or cuddle softpillows and blankets in private with gloves off.
5. For the longest time Kirrill had no fur or hair on hisbody, as it was all shaved off in order for it to be out of the way forexperiments. As such he takes great pride in his fluffy ears and tail now thathis fur has grown back, and tries not to cut his hair all that much.
6. Zandris’ height and subsequent weight is due to himactually being the runt of the litter persay. It also didn’t help that he refusedto eat anything that had protein in it for the longest time, eating nothing but‘fwuit’. He is slowly gaining alittle bit of weight as he now eats eggs, bothcooked and raw, and has started to try different insects.
7. Jakaran is so used to spending time in the swamp andnightwatching for the Fen Warders that whenever he’s out in the daylight hourshe keeps his eyes closed, using his sensitive ears to locate everything aroundhim.
8. Venyar can be forgetful about sleep and food when he’sworking on a big project, as such he built a small bed and a fridge into histinkering area.
9. Zuberi is rather inquisitive about new people, and assuch will crowd their space at first, sniffing them. This can be veryoffputting to other aurin, as he is ridiculously tall for a male. (A foot and ahalf taller than the average height given by Pappy aka 3’5. Also I love whenpeople whisper me or put in their next post what their character actuallysmells like when he does <3<3)
10. There was several occasions on the Arkship that Venyarwas nearly expunged into space. Despite this he still love the large vastnessof it, as it reminds him of the ocean and the myriad of things found in it.
11. Kirrill’s reaction to being touched without hispermission is usually shock and inactivity for a few moments before anexplosion of anger. As such, the male actually initiating contact is a hugeshow of trust.
12. How Kirrill shows affection is a rather complex thing.He won’t go out of his way to find something the other person likes, but hewill observe and react accordingly. The easiest way to show his affection he’sfound is through food or drink, this affectionate gesture does not need to beacknowledged, so long as the item is consumed. If you make a big deal out ofit, or share it with someone he doesn’t know. He will -not- do it again.
13. Kirrill’s range of nervous habits have gone down thanksto Abacus and T’ashir’s intervention. As such he comes off as alot calmer andquieter than he really is, allowing him to observe people with alot moreconcentration.
14. Zandris gets so many things stuck in his hair whileplaying or exploring that it can take hours to get it all out, and his hair isprone to tangling. Despite all this, he will bite anyone that tries to comenear him with a pair of scissors. His hair, not yours!
15. Zandris has a reason for growing his hair so long, as itis the only thing he can remember of his mother. She had hair down to herankles and would tie it into a thick braid or just leave it as it was.
Kirrill is now one of the lead scientists at Parasol Corporation, he originally worked freelance for the black hoods dealing with poisonous plants. Most of the personnel of Parasol Corp do not realise that he is one of the leading scientists, and as such, Kirrill doesn’t even think to correct them. The less they know, the better.
Venyar works on The Rusted Belle, as both general labour and communications officer. However when he’s on Nexus, he owns The Deep Thoughts Den, an opium/vice den, which will be opening once he finds a cook/chef.
Zuberi is a part of The Finders, however due to his claustrophobia and his fear of heights he does not go spelunking/climbing with the group.
Zandris’ favourite colours are greens and purples, Zuberi’s is dark purples and dark reds, Venyar’s is any shade of red, Jakaran likes greens and browns and Kirrill’s are purples and blues.
Zuberi has never used a pistol in his life, nor does he know much about the void. However he can gate if necessary, though it takes a rather hard toll on him. Untrained catbird that he is.
Zandris has absolutely no idea he’s an esper. If someone ‘feels’ sad, he will make them feel better. He doesn’t know why he can tell if someone’s sad from time to time, but doesn’t question it.
Zandris has the most prehensile tail out of all my characters whereas Zuberi has the least.
Zandris is the shortest at 1’11, followed by Kirrill at 3’2, Venyar at 3’6, Jakaran at 3’7 and Zuberi at a colossal 5’1.
Kirrill specialises in Flora and Fauna studies, mainly fauna. He’s also been studying haematology for a few months.
Zandris knows how to read and write, however it’s very choppy. Zuberi can’t read or write. Kirrill writes in small, rounded lettering. Ven’s is a hasty scrawl and Jakaran’s are large block letters.
