Comic for @yulnik of her Fallout OC's Jake and Sarah Ross. In this au, the familial relationship between them is strained by Jake being a forgetful parent, and Sarah picking up the slack by taking on responsibilities beyond her age.
Yes there's IHOP's in the post apocalypse, move past it lol
"Don't cry, my sonny..."
A gift for my dear @yulnik with her oc Jake (and my Patrick...)
Yes, although enclave Patrick is a distinguished gentleman, he's not above catching a baby fever. If Jake would've never found his mum, Patrick would be "the dad who stepped up", because he's an 🦅American🦅 with a toxic idea of 🦅the American dream🦅 embedded in his brain.
This is two weeks in a row where I feel like Jake has gotten an overly harsh critique, I thought his fox tattoo would win and his spider was solid (can't find a pic)
The Nova Scotia owner of the Zamboni that's the subject of a widely shared photo on Facebook says powerful winds from a winter storm that blew through the area Sunday into Monday slid the ice resurfacing machine into the ditch.
How it all started. Jake seemed to think he'd found some top secret information he could use to blackmail Ranger Goose. The veteran ranger is guarded about his real name, so when Jake messed around with an NCR terminal and found his records, he thought he'd struck gold. But of course Goose has long refused or lied about his name, so its no more than "John Doe".
So the guessing games begin:
I had joked that perhaps the old desert rangers had a running pool for whoever finally guessed his real name first. After 20+ years of wrong guesses, the bounty has gotten really high. Sarah wants that bounty, he's just lying to be difficult.
Collab comics with @yulnik ! Sarah, Jake and Jack all belong to her. Just some of the scenarios we'll goof about on discord hehe

Description
THE LAST BOOK WRITTEN BY SIX-TIME HUGO WINNER BEN BOVA
NOTE: While the book is part of a series, it is an independent story and may be read without reading any of the other books in the POWER series.
It is time to start the colonizing the solar system. Ex-astronaut, current space advisor, and all-out trouble shooter for the President, Jake Ross, is determined to make it happen.
And what better way to return to America’s glory than by returning to the moon and setting up a permanent moon-base which can then serve as the launching pad for Mars and beyond.
But as usual, political intrigue and conflicting priorities are threatening the whole program. Add to that a President who is about to die, a strong contingent in the legislative body which thinks that money spent on a moon-base is money wasted and the general apathy of the public, and you have an almost impossible task.
Even NASA, natural enthusiasts of a project like this, are dragging their feet because they have lost control of the top spot in the project.
However, none of those opposing forces have contended with the resolve and the skill of Jake Ross. He will create the base on the moon. He will send humans out to many worlds.
