Robby is still asleep, probably still curled up like a cat on his side of the bed but facing toward Jack’s side. Robby always tended to turn toward him, no matter where they were — like it was instinct; like it was inevitable.
Jack remembers asking Robby if he believed in soulmates. The minutes without a response stretched between them sticky and long, like taffy, until it finally doubled back on itself with Robby saying, “I’m here with you, aren’t I?”

Ahh thank you!! I’m too neurotic to send this to 7 people randomly but here’s my three facts:
1) I have six tattoos, much to the chagrin of my more religious family members.
2) in grad school I somehow became one of the more prominent wrestling scholars in the country.
3) before I deleted Twitter I was followed by Missy Elliott.

Vaguely NSFW Ask Meme
Who do you think would get along better, Joan and House or Sherlock and Wilson?
I somehow completely missed this ask omg. Also GREAT question and let's think through this together
The thing is Joan and House isn't a dynamic we haven't seen. Joan and House is essentially the House and Cuddy dynamic: a doctor who recognizes that House is special™, but also won't take his shit. The difference than since Joan is an addict specialist and not his boss, she would take less of his bullshit. House does not react well to people who try to kiss his ass, but he reacts even worse to people who aren't impressed by his bullshit - he works best with people who live somewhere in the mid zone of respecting his genius but being willing to call him out and challenge him while simultaneously letting him do whatever he wants. And honestly? I don't think Joan would let him do whatever he wants. She's got too much experience with another genius jackass and with addicts in general. She also would not appreciate the way House pries into everyone's business - she barely tolerates it with Sherlock, who'd her actual life partner. Rating: they would not get along, and it would be incredible television to watch.
Sherlock and Wilson, tho... The question here is, will Sherlock pry enough to see that Wilson is a freaky sumvabitch. And I think the answer is no. Sherlock would dismiss Wilson as boring and typical, even if he needed a cancer expert. Very quickly he'd end up insulting him and Wilson would take it more or less decently and go commiserate with House about not liking Sherlock and his rudeness. House would tell him to stand up for himself, and in their next interaction Wilson would make some really small comment that would be a big victory to his self esteem and completely pass under Sherlock's notice. Which, lmao. Basically, they're a C plot at best. Technically they get along better than House and Joan but just because they would barely interact. Rating: they would not get along, but they'd make for shit television.
Anyway. I need this crossover in my life now has anyone written this?
what's your favorite thing about making graphics?
I had to take some time to think about this.
I think, in part there is no doing it "wrong", there's no rules in the making process the way there are with more conventional materials and you can do it anywhere.
I'm also one of those people that makes dumb jokes and will hear a song and go "OMG THIS IS ____!!" And will make me sad and I want to share/inflict it with the fandom. Because I'm a giver <3
Thank you for the thoughtful ask!!
Okay since you like Leverage and 911, question for you:
Which Leverage character do you think would fit in best at the 118?
Hold on I had to phone a friend (aka my sister @werewolfsmile who is obsessed with Leverage and as soon as I read this question to her she was like I HAVE MANY THOUGHTS ™️).
So here's what she said (paraphrased tbh because she would not Shut Up About It):
"Nate is not appropriate cause he's an alcoholic and would trigger Bobby constantly.
Sophie lol. She's not gonna be a firefighter at all. She would be like the mum who drifts in and hangs out to chat, but doesn't bring any food and ... she's totally stealing things when she comes in. (Parker even more so).
Next Parker. She'd be incredible at the rigging side of things. But she wouldn't fit in because she likes fire TOO MUCH and might become an arsonist.
Hardison would love any new tech coming out and would do okay in the physical setting but he doesn't cope well with blood and guts. So that would be his failing point.
Whereas Eliot is the most protective out of the whole lot of them. Always going off con to help other people (particularly kids). He'd thrive in this kind of environment where he can help people and be part of a team. Also he would look really hot in the firefighter uniform. He would be so done with Buck all the time, but he'd bring in recipes specifically to help Buck with his latest health kicks. He'd be terrified of ever letting Hardison and Chimney in the same room because they'd get on like a House on Fire and the jokes would be so bad he'd just die. And he'd get on really well with Eddie because they both served, and they'd gang up together to pick on Buck. ... Ignoring timelines they also probably totally served together at some point."
Uhhh yeah sorry, I totally palmed this question off on my sister 😅
But I (unfortunately) think she's right. Eliot would be the best fit. He's strong and super caring. The 118 would become a little family of cooks omg can you imagine him and Bobby arguing about the best way to do a recipe? Also I feel like he would have a lot in common with Bobby, in terms of wanting to do Good Deeds to outweigh the bad.
Do you agree??
Thanks so much for the question!!! 🥰😘💕
