Idk if I mentioned this anywhere, but I used to do a lot of face painting! Mainly on myself, but I’d volunteer and do makeup for people for stage shows at my old middle school when they did productions like The Lion King! I got into it because of Cats!

❤️ Despite his seemingly tough exterior, Jak is such a gentleman to you and a few others (ie. Daxter, Tess, Sig, etc.), just doesn’t want to show it off. Whether you need to some help in welding or just wanting to be there for you, he’s going to be there.

💜 Eyebrows moving about so slow and sultry like Cary Grant whenever you two get flirty with each other? #Nosebleed! But in a good way.

💙 Dark Jak is still a fresh memory in his mind even after all those years since it had happened. He’s really scared that if this dark alter ego will return, he’s afraid that he might hurt you in this form and might not be forgiven as the result.

Self-Insert Positivity Post

hey guys its me, sheepy and im pretty late but i still wanted to make a post about self-insert positivity thing going on

i started self-insert and self-shipping firstly with x readers more than anything else for YEARS - a friend of mine had done self shipping quite extensively and i had been keeping an eye on @affectionatealien ‘s blog because their content was really fucking cute and i am nothing but supportive... then i found out that there was actually an extensive community of self-shippers one day and i was like “well fuck, i wanna do this... i’ll make my own blog for this too!” pretty soon after i started crushing hard for black hat!

and so i did. i started off as a really small blog without much attention but @aquasworldismusicsworld helped me really feel comfortable within the community and was one of the first people to inspire me to make my own self ship content via art rather than just gushing about it and it was honestly incredibly freeing and amazing and was VERY fun to draw... thank you so much aqua i will never forget u fam. other blogs who also did this for me were @lovelybfs and @corporate-funded-selfshipping and @zorosgirlfriend 

and every day being part of this community has been amazing and it just keeps getting better in my personal opinion. honestly a lot of it boils down to the fact that ever since i had created the self shipping discord, it has been so much easier for me to talk to other self shippers and make more friends in this community as it has been nothing but a positive experience so far. and it’s been very, very fun. hilariously making the discord has also led to me dragging my friends into the self-shipping community as well! they could see the positivity for themselves! yeah, i’m calling out @hehemyers and @justicemust !!!

@jaklovemail Thank you for the ask Jords!! This is my first time ever writing off one of these prompts so I hope I’m doing it right. :3 This fic is sent near the beginning of our relationship, btw.

“All I do is drink coffee and say bad words,” Ruby said with her arms crossed as she slouched against the counter and stared at the floor.

Junkrat stared at her with his head tilted, confused about what her point was.

She pouted and added on to her statement, “And I like boring stuff like puzzles and candles and cute pictures of cats, and I’ve never done anything even a little bit bad, like shoplift or set something on fire.”

“What are ya saying, luv?” Junkrat asked as he leaned down, trying to meet her eyes.

She glanced at him, then groaned and put her hands on her face in frustration. “Well, you’re, you know… you’re Junkrat! The notorious criminal from a dangerous wasteland, who only leaves mayhem and destruction in his wake!” She put her arms down and met his eyes. “And I’m just me… It’s just hard to believe…” she bit her lip, “You don’t find me… boring at all?”

Junkrat didn’t even need to think about his answer. “Of course I don’t! You’re too adorable to be boring!” he grinned as he held her face, squishing her cheeks. “And you’re sweet, and passionate, and nice to me too. I don’t come across that too often!”

Ruby blushed and put her hands on top of his. “Oh, stop it. You know I can’t take compliments.”

“Well you better take ‘em, cuz I’m just gonna keep giving 'em!” Junkrat laughed as he moved his arms around her waist and pulled her close. Ruby couldn’t help but giggle with him as she hugged him back. Her concerns melted away in the warmth of his embrace, and as she looked up into his eyes and shared a quick but tender kiss, she knew that he meant what he said; he was there to stay.
