The butler had never had expected this sort of conversation with anyone, nor was he expecting Kamui to be boasting him up to people like she has been. He was just a simple butler - yes, a very good one, but just a simple butler no less. His master spoke to someone about him using kind words, and it was something he would appreciate and cherish if he knew that it was happening.
His eyes fell upon the other as the voice was heard, his gaze as cold as it usually was. There was no way he was going to treat this person like he would Kamui, but he would be somewhat kind to them if they were friends with her. Anything to keep his master happy after all.
❝If I were to sparr with you, how do I know you are good enough to keep up? I am not here to babysit you.❞ He asked the other, instantly looking down on her before even starting to do anything. He didn’t want to be weight down by the possibility of training with a hopeless fighter, and then eventually falling behind with his duties as a butler. Of course, he was too good as a butler to do that, but there was always the possibility!
However, when he had finally heard about what Kamui had been saying, his heart skipped a beat. Honestly, that master of his! It also got him to change his mind, but he was still not liking the idea. If Kamui said that he was a good teacher, then so be it. He was to teach this person after all. He listened to all of the other’s words about what she wanted to gain from this before making a decision on what he was to do. There was no use in accepting if she couldn’t even fight, was there?
