Been wanting to recreate the iconic scene from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes for a while now. I mean a beautiful blonde woman surrounded by a bunch of sharply dressed men, I obviously knew who I had to draw in the middle. Hottest woman in the WR-verse Drusilla!! I ditched Monroe’s pink dress for the one Gertrude Welcker wears in Dr. Mabuse der Spieler, I only left out the lacing on it, but the hair and the accessories are still a call back to that. Also if some of the mob members seem familiar and look like certain Golden Age Hollywood stars then I did a good job.
