JAMESPLUMB // SILENT LIGHT (Environment, 2020) a light installation and dark sky experience at Downhill Demesne and Mussenden Temple, Northern Ireland.

The viewings are in silence and in darkness, after twilight, for fourteen nights in February 2020. The first during the Full Moon on 9th February. The last on the New Moon on 23rd February. ‘Stained Moons’ is an installation of light and shadow, evoking the eight phases of the moon.

In an unsurprising turn of events, director James Plumb takes George A. Romero’s Night of the Living Dead & makes a mockery of it with a horrid version set in rural Wales.

Quite simply one of the most sleep-inducing attempts to re-imagine the horror classic. Night of the Living Dead: Resurrection commits the cardinal sin of horror, it’s so boring. A major flaw in a movie that is filled with them.
