My parents constantly complain about how I don't get up in the morning until like, 1-2pm.
If you follow my Twitter, you'll know why this isn't an issue. Because if you don't have a job, or you're not a farmer, there's absolutely nothing to do whatsoever out here between the hours of 8am and 12pm.
Most shops here now (the ones that are left, they're dropping like flies recently) don't open until 9:30 or 10:00. Pubs don't open until 12:00. Fast food places don't open until 16:00.
So yeah, I'd rather get up at 1pm and go to bed at 3am because at least during the night, I get to actually do something (watch hockey) instead of wasting 3 hours waiting for places to open so I can do so something if I want to.
