Fanfic Review 110

Interactive Fanfic

"After an emotional breakup with Logan, you seek out your best friend Kendall to ease some of the pain the heartbreak brought along. But Logan returns unexpectedly and wants you back. You must make a decision, get back with Logan or move on? (This is an interactive fanfic. You click on your choice at the end of each chapter.)"

I've never partaken in an interactive fanfic before but I can now  say it was a fun experience.

The plot of this fanfic was a fun one to play about because I honestly had no idea where it would go until I made a decision as to where I wanted it to go. This type of fanfic takes the concept of involving the reader in the story to a whole new level.

I really enjoyed the characterization of all the characters and the author did a great job of keeping things consistent throughout all of the different scenarios that could have taken place.

I didn't come across and grammar or spelling errors. The dialogue had a great flow to it and was realistic to what the situations involved.

After reading two pieces of this author's work now, I can say I really enjoy her narration skills. The narration is always well done and provides a clear image of what's happening within her writing. 

Big Time Rush fans if you're looking for a fanfic you can literally put yourself into, this is definitely one for you.

Fanfic Review 90

Sweet Surrender

You ran out into the cold, snowy night to the bus stop across town, sitting and waiting for a bus that wouldn’t come. Your best friend Logan Henderson finds you and takes you home, caring for you in the best way until you realize that your hidden feelings for this boy are breaking free."

This Big Time Rush fanfic, though for maturer audiences, is definitely one I'm glad I read.

The plot was well developed and the characters were all very well developed. The author did a fantastic job of establishing the relationships between the characters and making them convincing. 

 I thought the dialogue in this was amazingly well done and really helped improve the quality of the fanfic in general. I did notice a grand total of three minor mistakes that are always an easy fix with a quick edit. 

I don't know if it was the author's intention to continue this fanfic but I think adding a second part would be a great idea. After reading it, I'm dying to see what could potentially happen next!
