Do you think the word/slur 'queer' should be embraced, or rejected by the LGBT community?

I think there's a big divide between the LGBT™ community and the queer community so although my official opinion is that people should only reclaim what they feel comfortable reclaiming I preferred the LGBT™ not use the word queer because when one of them says the word queer is offensive it's a safe bet they are ableist. I like warnings.

I just wanted you to know that you've really taught me a lot through this blog. I've noticed the world around me in a completely different way and I owe that to you. I've discussed the points you've shown me to my loved ones and they, too, have started to see the way buildings are constructed and how the smallest of things to me are a big deal to others around me. I can't believe I've never asked you how you feel about the way disabled people on the PBS show Arthur are portrayed. There's been an episode about someone whose blind, and in the recent seasons there's been a character in a wheelchair. I was just curious what you thought of those characters and how they're treated.

I have honestly never seen Arthur… Is it on YouTube? I'll review it if I can watch it on YouTube
