Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed. 1/4 cup granulated sugar. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/4 cup cold water. 1/2 cup your favorite jam e.g., raspberry, strawberry.
Instructions: Put the flour, granulated sugar, cold cubed butter, and salt in a food processor. Pulse until coarse crumbs form from the mixture. Add the cold water little by little until the dough comes together while the food processor is operating. If necessary, you might need to add a little bit more water. After transferring the dough to a surface dusted with flour, give it a quick knead to create a smooth ball. Refrigerate the dough for a minimum of half an hour after wrapping it in plastic wrap. Before you begin, preheat your oven to 375F 190C. Grease or spray a mini muffin tin with nonstick spray. On a surface dusted with flour, roll out the chilled dough to a thickness of about 1/8 inch. Cut out circles of dough that will fit into the mini muffin tin cups using a glass or a round cookie cutter. To form the tart shell, gently press each circle of dough into a cup of the mini muffin tin. Spoon approximately 1 teaspoon of your preferred jam into each tart shell. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the tarts are golden brown, in an oven that has been preheated. After letting the tarts cool in the pan for a few minutes, move them to a wire rack to finish cooling. Present and savor your delectable mini jam tarts!
