Get ready #JanetDoc
Y’all watching the Janet Doc right?!
my thoughts on the janet documentary:
- it provoked a lot of emotions (emotional) - enjoyed seeing the unreleased footage from the years - watching the process of janet becoming a mother was truly everything - i loved seeing the small interviews from katherine but i could tell it was hard for her to talk about michael. i began to cry when she began to cry. - only thing i felt that was unanswered was what went wrong with her marriage to her last husband (because a lot of people were surprised) and if she has a good relationship with michael's kids (because a lot of tabloids/rumors say otherwise)
overall score: 9/10
No one, and I mean no one, could AND should never reach the level of fame that Michael reached. That’s a terrifying level. Aside from being disrespectful to his legacy by “proclaiming” the most mediocre (white) men as the next king of pop, no one should be subjected to abuse from in and outside of the industry like he was
Janet played less than 10 seconds of her new single “Luv I Luv” at the end of her documentary…then dipped. It’s not on streaming platforms. Ma’am. How dare you.
So basically we have THE Janet Jackson to thank for opening the door for lap dances on stage at concerts💁🏾♀️
