Hey there, this is a process video of the character I did last year. Swipe -> #everyday . I had some interesting conversations with friends about the evolution inside the creation process the last days. . You started with your first idea and end up with a complete different result. . But I think this is how it should be otherwise you always create things which are influenced by social media and things we are seeing everyday day. . Moreover and that's only my personal opinion, I feel that sometimes designing is like baking a cake. The more you are prepared the more you practiced your process and the better the research, the better the end result. . What are your thoughts on this? . Do you have trouble with coming up with ideas? . . . If so take one word, I recommend adjectives like : dense, dangerous, calm. This word should be conveyed emotionally when looking at your scene. Next colour comp. #everyday . So this is the last video in colour comps I swear 😁. . This is nr.3 where I had this idea about layered waterfalls, where a crumbled temple is hidden. After looking for reference I found this amazing photo of this crazy waterfall overlays. . As you can see in the video, I have tried to recreate this and use this somehow for my own idea. It looks a bit messy, but we are still in the idea refining phase. . So fail and fail fast 🔥 . I also did some different colour versions they not so different, because of this usual natural water haze in the atmosphere which would make it very bluish overall, but I tried to find something interesting in it. .
