JULIAN + ARABELLA

Name: Anna Elena

Gender: Female

General Appearance: Anna has her mother’s bright red hair, and her father’s dark, dark eyes. She has a small face with a pointed chin and a mouth like a pouty loveheart. Her frame is tall and slender, and she’s a natural athlete.

Personality: Anna is a somewhat even mix of both her parents. One of her most prominent traits is the tenacity she inherited from them both. Anna refuses to give up on anything—or anyone—and it’s impossible to keep secrets from her. She makes an incredible friend, always willing to listen and provide advice. However, it seems more than a little bit of her father’s genes took over, and Anna is rapidly developing a penchant for playing”doctors”. And practising her surgical technique on small animals.

Special Talents: For a long time, Arabella and Julian thanked their lucky stars, because Anna showed no trace of a power. Then, one day when the family were on a tour of Spain, Anna began climbing a tall rock, and almost made it to the top before she slipped and plummeted to the bottom. On hearing the sharp smack that was their daughter’s body impacting on the ground, Julian and Arabella lost it. Running over to their daughter’s body, they were amazed to see cuts rapidly stitching over and the bone protruding from her ankle sliding back into place. Her self-healing abilities had taken twelve years to manifest, but they were lucky her accident managed to provoke them, or the child would have died.

Who they like better: Anna is exceptionally good at playing her parents off against one another, but at heart she is a mummy’s girl.

Who they take after more: In looks, Arabella. In personality, it’s probably more weighted to Julian’s side.

Personal Head canon: Anna is an exceptionally gifted footballer (ENGLISH. FOOTBALL.) and has told her parents on many occasions that in fact she will not be a princess when she grows up, she will be a footballer.

who cooks normally? arabella likes to experiment in the kitchen, and julian will dutifully eat anything that is placed in front of him, even though it’s sometimes a little less than edible. most nights see them out at restaurants, though.

how often do they fight? fairly often. not enough for them to consider breaking up, but they’re hardly considered perfectly happy. their relationship was something of a rebound on both sides, and even though they choose to stay together, there is a lot of resentment there.

what do they do when they’re away from each other? take the time to relax. a lot of their interaction is tense, and even though they genuinely do feel for each other, there is no denying that their relationship is unhealthy.

nicknames for each other? julian is just julian. arabella is just arabella, apart from when he wants to get to her, and calls her bella.

who is more likely to pay for dinner? julian, every time. arabella complains about it, but julian won’t allow it any other way.

who steals the covers at night? they don’t actually share a bed. they decided it would be better for the sake of their relationship if they had separate rooms. occasionally though, arabella will have bad dreams of their time in versailles, and creep into julian’s bed. he’s always willing to have her there, mostly because of his own nightmares.

what would they get each other for gifts? julian likes to give big, extravagant gifts such as diamond jewellery and trips around the world. arabella tends towards smaller, sentimental things.

who kissed who first? julian kissed arabella. it was a spur of the moment thing when he was unsure about his feelings for joline. arabella rebuked him.

who made the first move? julian, again. new year’s eve was a night full of alcohol and regrets.

who remembers things? arabella, usually. julian will occasionally surprise her by big shows of affection on her birthday, when she thought he’d forgotten.

who started the relationship? not surprisingly, arabella. she wasn’t willing to be julian’s fuck buddy, and told him so. he decided a relationship would be something new, at least.

who cusses more? they both swear, but julian probably more so.

what would they do if the other one was hurt? it depends on who hurt them. julian has suffered several injuries at the hands of arabella, and she has been on the receiving end of his power a few times when she pushed him too far. if anyone else were to hurt the other though, i think shit would go down.
