Lilltewood Combined School is trying out school uniforms! Don't all the kids look cute?
Oh yes, and more importantly, the school has hired a part-time magic teacher. Hollyhead's very own Wisteria Quackenbush is taking some time away from her arts and crafts shop to work on educating Hollyhead's youth! "I've always wanted to make a positive impact in my local community", Wisteria enthuses, "and this seemed like the perfect way to go about it! After all, I'm actually quite talented when it comes to magic, and I like to think I'm a good teacher. Besides, I was already educating my son Heath at home. This way the other youngsters can benefit from my wisdom, too."
Nutmeg looked quite interested for a non-magic user, but Hazel was more interested in playing with the dog that wandered into the playground. Is that Cooper? What's he doing out of the Firehouse??
With Heath all grown up and starting school, Wisteria had time to open back up her crafts shop, Artist's Armoury. Lately, business has been booming! "Some smoozing with that reporter certainly didn't hurt sales." Wisteria revealed to the Herald.

Clive ended up hiring Seraphina as the new waitress (The Fisherman’s Hook has been short staffed since Verica Kentwelp joined the firefighters) but safe to say her first day was a bit of a disaster!
To be fair, only some of that was her fault. Dropping plats of food on people is one thing, but if there’s one thing that really scares customers away, it’s fire!
Anabelle: Yup, smoke decectors are always worth having around. Really, we ought to be giving them away for free. I ought to write to the mayor about making fire alarms in homes mandatory, as part of the safety code.
Wedge: Uh...
Anabelle: That is, I mean, at our low prices we practically are giving them away for free!
“Wisteria’s magic class went down a treat with the kids,” Sean tells the Heald, “Wisteria insisted on dressing them all up in little uniforms too. I don’t usually like school uniforms, but the girls actually seemed to enjoy the novelty!”
“I think getting a little witchy instruction will make them a little less restless and more attentive in class. Sometimes you have to follow their interest, rather than forcing these things... I just hope Hazel and Nutmeg didn’t feel too left out. They looked facinated, but I worry they might feel jealous or inadequate next to their magical classmates. I’ve got to make sure we’re nuturing their talents, too.”
Teaching’s a tough job, but Sean’s always putting his best hoof forward!
