أكد Jason Mackenzie وهو رئيس شركة HTC في أمريكا من أن الشركة تعلم بمشكلة أداء كاميرة الهاتف المحمول One M9 وتعمل في الوقت الحالي على أصدار تحديث لحل هذه المشكلة بأسرع وقت ولربما التحديث سيكون متوفر مابين 10 إلى 17 من الشهر الحالي.نعم الكاميرا بدقة 20 ميجابيكسل بمستشعر BSI من توشيبا ولكن المسألة هو أن الدقة لاترتقي إلى المستوى المطلوب وخاصة أنها تظهر بشكل واضح في الأضاءة الضعيفة .
