Maybe at Jayfeathers trial, they call up Moleflight to give a testimony and his thoughts on whether Jayfeather should go to Starclan, and it's ultimately his testimony that gets jayfeather in.
Like, he complains about jayfeather for quite a while, but concludes that he was ultimately loyal to the clans.
