We follow Alabama singer/songwriter/producer Jazz’Mine Garfield since she dropped her interesting EP titled Bullet produced alongside mastermind Byron The Aquarius (check out his last work J.Dilla What Up Doe Vol.1 ).
Today we decided to expose her artistry to our audience with a superb joint released some months ago titled Pretend.
Jazz’Mine ability to meld a wide palette of sounds with a charming and genuine aptitude, collocates her as one of the most interesting emerging experimental artist of the current music scene.
Her music flirts with acoustic jazz, sometimes is slightly jagged with hip-hop beats,sometimes explores neo-soul melodies and with the tune titled Pretend we show you her captivating skills as trained performer ,consisting of soothing and laid back vocals.
The amazing track is a collaboration with music producer and composer Tyler Ambrosius (1/2 of Data River alongside Omari Jazz) who cooked a well-appointed downtempo and seductive beat where each elements of the composition sounds melodic and buttery creating a compelling subdued texture!
