jellybean + jughead // @jbjonsed
how many months -- almost a year -- had it been since last his eyes had laid on that of his little sister ?? too long. however it was not without a deep passage of time that they would once more find each other much changed. no longer was he the innocent social justice warrior fighting for rights of the southside. now he defended those rights by wielding a pocket knife && wearing a leather jacket with serpents on the back. there was not shame for the atrocities that he had committed but deep mourning for the innocent male left behind in the darkness of this path. -- there was no more innocence for him to draw from. his path was chosen && there was naught but darkness that laid before him. sorting through a few old boxes he was preoccupied with the items but the patter of footfalls made him draw his eyebrows together. with his father gone it was down to him to keep the trailer in tact. turning with uncertainty -- was someone supposed to visit ?? he came face to face with jellybean. his sibling long since forgotten by the daily chaos he wielded shock appeared upon his features. rigid in his stance he stepped forward && gathered her into his arms. ❝ how i missed you !! ❞ forgotten for the moment was the jacket he now donned.
