Yosuke Ohnishi, jca annual 4 (1982)
The JCA Annual 5 image might be a reference to the 1984 Japanese film, "Bye-Bye Jupiter," a space opera where the planet Jupiter is used to destroy a Black Hole racing through the Solar System. The red vortex resembles how the Black Hole appears in the movie.
Oh interesting! Good to know, thank you
