Meet this weeks #JCIFollowFriday 🥁 Sara Au Yeong @auyeongsara - Amaterasu Beauty @amaterasubeauty 💕⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ 🎓 JCI MUA Grad @auyeongsara is an internationally-renowned makeup artist as well as the Founder and Creator of Amaterasu Beauty 💄which offers a stellar line-up of exceptional products that no cosmetics bag is complete without 🌟⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ Sara’s journey to create these exceptional beauty products started in 2006 when she served as the Head Makeup Artist for the @missamerica in Santa Monica, California. One of her duties was to assemble a makeup kit for the contestants, however, she could not find products that would not smudge, flake or smear under the hot lights. This week's #JCIFollowFriday is Kelsey Adair ! ❤️⁠⠀ ⁠Kelsey is a Fashion Business & Creative Arts #JCInstitute Grad ✨. She is the founder and owner of @bareknitwear , a handmade luxury alpaca knitwear brand that combines heritage artisanship with modern design 🦙 . “I knew I wanted to run my own apparel business, however I didn’t know it would be knitwear. I was inspired by the idea and the challenge of developing a brand and growing a business.” Kelsey Adair. ⁠⠀ Kelsey began working as an accessories buyer in 2011 for a small business and was re-inspired of buying from a range of independent brands. She knew the basics of knitting and crocheting which allowed her to create a small collection of scarves. 🧣 ⁠⠀ 🛩️ In 2014, Kelsey aligned with a production company in Peru, flew there and learned how the production and development in the Ayacuchan workshop worked, she immediately knew this was the right partnership for her project. ⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ 🙌 "Bare Knitwear is at an exciting stage we are working on introducing our first collection of lighter weight pieces in pima and organic cotton designed to be worn year-round.
