Knuckles rapped on the door of the only one she knew to go to, the only one she had been looking for. Jamie Knight. It’d only been a few months since stepping foot back into Red Creek, the hometown she truly never had any outstanding problems with. She grew up, she left. Coming back to visit nearly every time she had a lengthy break of course, Bea still had family to think about. It was only more complicated now that, after one incredibly unlucky night, she strode back into the small Canadian town, dead. A vampire. She knew what they were, not completely oblivious to the supernatural element of the world. What she didn’t know is that she was being used as some sort of... all you can eat buffet by who she thought was a close friend. It was dark, the sun burned worse than anything she’d felt in her entire life. The light curtains in her apartment out of town did nothing to protect her from the suddenly deadly rays after she’d managed to get some blood into her system. “Jamie, open the damn door!” She knocked again, again, again, relentless against the hardwood.
