He’s munching on a croissant, it’s part of the PERKS of working at the coffee store. Display items and their sell-by dates and his insistence that they shouldn’t go to waste. The flakes of pastry do their best to make an utter mess, his shirt flickered with crumbs that cling to the fabric instead of the floor. He brushes them off, a hand swiping over a slight tummy. “ Be honest. Have I put on weight? ” He asks, making sure to chew and swallow before he continues. “ I haven’t been running as much as I should. And I really like running, that’s not the issue. But I’ve been so tired lately, and I think it’s because I haven’t been eating enough, so well, now I’m eating more. Or maybe I’m just tired because I’m getting older. ” A pause. “ What do you think? ” @storytcller
