Glad to see I’m not the only one who likes to write non-Greek things with Greek letters x)

I do that all the time, when I'm bored, to write secret messages, to copy in exams... ok I just did it once. It was necessary u.u

Well, though it's true not everyone, I must say that all around Spain we have negative stereotypes just for being Catalan, like that we are stiff, boring and stingy.

Oh una catalana! Som poquets per aquí, et segueixo :P You're right about this, these stereotypes exist, but they're just stereotypes. I believe (or at least I want to) that most people don't take them seriously. If they do I don't really care, we know what we are an that's the most important :)

Stereotype time : is it true that people from cataluña don't like "regular" Spanish people ?

That’s not true. All the disagreements that exist between Catalans and Spaniards are political/economical/etc. Fortunately, in general, the people have no problems between them. You might find exceptions on both sides, and some politicians insist that the Catalan society is divided, but if the political debate doesn’t appear, no one will fight and everyone will respect each other’s language, culture, etc. Even if it appears, normally people can talk about it without problems. We might sometimes say something like: “Oh, these Spaniards are trying to screw us again” but if we say so it’s because of something the government of Spain has done, and we actually refer to the government, not the regular people. And we know everyone complains about their government :P

Ah man! I feel bad for ABBA now! I do imagine ikea would be less fun if you actually understood the product names, half the fun is laughing at whatever a "flarfull" is meant to be! And the tiny pencils. They're awesome!
