A book like this is hard for me to give a rating to. This collection of vignettes (stories, poems, songs, some even read like plays) is very lyrical. I found the writing beautiful but also very confusing. I think most of it went over my head and was often unsure of what was going on. My favourite stories were Ester and Avey, maybe because they were easier for me to follow. I also loved the basketball scene in Bona and Paul.
