Imagine: Just imagine skipping school and as you’re walking out you see ash and he’s like “Jess, no, get back to class, you’ll get in trouble!” and he’s all trying to convince you but you say fuck it and as you’re about to walk out the doors he groans and follows you out there because your his best friend and he needed to make sure you were safe. You both found yourself sitting by a creek, a normal hide out you both usually go to. He’s picking at some flowers and you giggle, telling him to make a flower crown, he tries but grumpily fails, throwing the flower remains all over you. “You wanna know what I want to know?” You ask aloud, and he looks up at you, his green eyes staring intently. “I want to know, why you put up with me all the time. Like, I get that you’re my friend and all but, half of the things you do for me, I don’t deserve. For example, you get in trouble all the time for me?” You’re picking at some dead grass as you feel a lump in your throat. The air was silent, except for a few cicadas whistling by the water. “I think…You deserve the world. I love you, Jess. And you deserve to be happy.” He puts a yellow dandelion in your hair as he pushes back some strands by your eyes. His calloused hands move to your chin, lifiting it so he can plant a soft kiss on your lips.
