Apparently, these two have a lot more in common than we thought... and it's not that their both punk rockers
(Spoilers and massive lore drops from today's episode!)
So, today's episode of TEASS gave us some lore drops about Saturn and her world... including her 'kryptonite!'
So, Saturn still isn't doing too hot after her fight with Austin. Turns out the weapon he hit her with was made from some mineral that's lethal to Saturn's species. (Sound fimilar?)
This mineral actually caused the death of Saturn's home planet and universe!
You read that right! Saturn's universe doesn't exist anymore! Saturn is an anomaly like Solar and Molten! But unlike Solar, she didn't die for some reason?
Maybe cause it was her universe's time?
Maybe the reason Solar died was cause his universe was suddenly ripped away while Saturn's universe died cause its time was just up or maybe Saturn is just lucky.
We learn Saturn's armor is made from nanites and that it usually heals her and her skin which is why she doesn't have any scars but that weapon Austin used on her deactivated the nanites and is now making her sick.
This 'kryptonite' affects Saturn's species differently, some get sick, some straight-up die, and some just... who knows? It's like red kryptonite from Superman comics. It has a random effect each time it's used.
Saturn says the only person who may have a cure for this 'kryptonite' is her sister. (We're learning about one of Saturn's family members!)
Whatever this 'kryptonite' is, it's bad, it's dangerous, and it apparently exists in every universe.
The reason Saturn invades universes is cause this 'kryptonite' is dangerous but it's also useful for power.
Now it's cool we're learning about Saturn's world but... if Saturn's world no longer exists... does this mean she's on The Overseer's list?
Overseer says he's going after anyone like Solar or just multiversal anomalies like Molten, Ruin, (maybe Eclipse?), and I guess Saturn now too?!
Maybe we will get that giant multiverse endgame-style crossover I've dreamed of eventually?
i HATE when places (in this instance a medical lab) give you their phone number but it's just a recorded message, and they leave you ZERO option to even speak to a human. and then once the recorded message is over, they hang up on you. I NEED HELP BITCH
// at work talking to @alchadex about a verse they cooking with @shotgunscn where they are getting some boning in season one. said dean’s repressed bi self is gonna have a midlife crisis at 26 (dude) knowing that.
got a chuckle.
then realized if you just count his human years (not the ones in hell) and stack it up to the show’s crappy canon s15? 26 is about the era of a midlife crisis for him and I gave myself the SADS!
🌂 I'd gone all day without scratching basically, but something happens my Engine can't account for, just an unsolved mystery really, and now i've almost tore the underside of my leg open???
Rory will really get repeatedly bullied by a person and still be like, "I think there's a good person somewhere deep inside! I'm going to try to be friends with them anyway." And then the fans will say Rory is selfish and didn't do enough for them (or any of her friends). Like, what do you want from her? Should she drop out of school and be their slave full time? Should she light herself on fire to prove her devotion to them? Would that make her worthy of being their friend?
