Okay I've designed the costume for the color palette

As you can see, this ones another galabeya. I combined a few different embroidery patterns I'd seen with some western elements, and some stuff I just felt like doing (the tassels for example, are not something I've seen on the sleeves of a galabeya like that before, nor is the cord in the neckline). This one is going to be filed away for later as the base is use would be plain black cloth, which I don't have ATM, and I don't have much money either.

Pattern Calculations for a simple galabeya

Code:

Bust (with ease room): B

Arm circumference (with ease room): AC

Desired Sleeve Length: SL

Shoulder to Ankle: S-A

Waist/Bust to Ankle: WB-A (and inverse)

Neckline width: NW

Shoulder to Collarbone: S-C

Divide B by 4. The front and back pieces will be this wide, as will the top of the side trapezoids. The bottom of the side trapezoids will be twice as wide as the top.

The front and back rectangles will be as long as the S-A measurement. The trapezoids will be as long as the WB-A measurement.

The neckline will be as wide as the NW (or about 8-10 inches) measurement, and as deep as S-C (or about 5-7 inches). In the middle of the neckline in the front piece, there should be a slit that's 4-7 inches long.

The sleeve will be the inverse of the WB-A wide at the first segment, and after 1/8 of B, then will turn back in. The next part will be as wide as AC. The entire length of the sleeve will be SL.
