First question comes from an adorable child named Emma, asking about @jenmorrisonlive’s time on Once Upon a Time! Unfortunately, the little girl was not named after Emma. But as Jen said, “Wishful thinking!” (x)
jennifer says it was great playing emma because she’s a strong woman. says the show was a bit ahead of the time with showing how strong women can be. before ouat no disney princess was able to hold a weapon and snow white got to in the pilot. (x)
jennifer says she can’t say anything at all about her role on this is us except that her hair is brown. also that we’ll know more in a week or so. (x)
jennifer says that she has never worked on such a healthy, functional and loving set as this is us. (x)
She said that “This Is Us” set is a lovely, healthy, kind set environment and that it’s “refreshing” (x)
She mentioned the really healthy environment coming into @NBCThisisUs as an established show, and thanked @Dan_Fogelman for that (x)
jennifer says she doesn’t look at criticism but gets defensive when she sees people she loves getting attacked. (x)

jennifer loved playing the dark one because it was a whole new world she got to explore and expand emma in a new way. (x)
she poured over 300-400 pages of research from the a public library to help create the character of a “dark swan.” it was a collaboration between herself and the creators. she always does in-depth research with every character (x)
jennifer loved working with colin and loved his guyliner. (x)
fan wants to know how robert carlyle got out of singing in the musical episode. laughing, jennifer says she never realized but doesn’t know. (x)
jennifer can’t even tell us who she’s worked with on this is us. (x)
jennifer says her favorite episode to film was the musical. (x)
jennifer says that over time it got easier to memorize the medical stuff, like muscle memory or learning another language. (x)
jennifer’s sister in law has a digital magazine that investigates forgotten women in history and talks about a local woman who is similar. the digital magazine is called @OhEleanora. (x)
favorite scenes to film with robert carlyle were when she was the dark one. (x)
Working as Catwoman, @jenmorrisonlive said it was fun getting to experiment and explore with a character with the voice over art form! She gets to change things up and try new things to see what works! (x)
