Oof those are old. Ummmmmm good question....I think now it’s not, I think it started as PR and they probably still have to be together for PR since luke is the front boi. But they probably started to try and make it work since they were both put in that situation if that makes sense. It’s still a toxic relationship, considering Teeth is all abt her lol, but yeah that’s my two cents on it!

okay i’m sorry but if you truly loved the band and respected them you would respect his love for her. it’s not everyday you get engaged. please don’t ruin this for them. I’m so tired of people telling me that I don’t love the band and shit bc I don’t agree with their choices. Just because I love the band, doesn’t mean I love their choices. If that’s wrong, then everyone who wants Calum to stop smoking for his health doesn’t love and respect the band. Anyone who doesn’t like a haircut one of the boys has doesn’t love and respect the band. Anyone who wants Ashton to stop drinking and Luke and Calum to stop doing cocaine doesn’t love and respect the band. It’s bullshit. I don’t support or respect or love Michael’s decision to propose to Crystal because she’s a terrible person and he deserves (and can do) way fucking better. She has harassed fans, said racists remarks toward them, bullied them, blocked random ones that don’t support or hate her and Mike, and on top of that she preaches about her mental health and loving her body when she has modified it with surgeries and photoshop. Posts she makes on Instagram about mental health are absolutely the wrong way to do it and her responses to other’s mental health are literally just a heart emoji. I never supported this relationship while it was going, and I DEFINITELY don’t support it now. I’m done with people saying that I’m what’s making the boys hate their fans (which they don’t??) or why they’re so “distant” with us and shit because 1) that is the weakest argument I’ve ever heard lmao, first of all, one person cannot create that much of a problem with thousands of people (minus trump LOL) and 2) the boys are distant because they tour for months at a time and need a break. They seem “distant” because sometimes they don’t want to say hi to everyone right when they get off the plane, or right when they wake up. They’re surrounded by thousands of people and cameras every day, wouldn’t you want a break too?? The boys aren’t even distant and they don’t hate their fans lol, so idk why people are saying that shit either. They love their fans because they know that the fanbase is what allowed them to grow and become more popular. The fanbase allowed them to live their dream job of being a musician, and they know that. There’s 100% a lack of respect (sometimes) from the fans to the boys, but that’s a different story. ANYWAY. I am done with people saying I’m a shit fan because I’m not lmao. I support and love the band, not the band member’s personal choices. I’m not sending hate to crystal or some shit ???? I muted Michael because I don’t want to see his posts anymore about this relationship because I know it’s toxic and it’s not going to last. It’s going to hurt him a lot and I’m not behind that lol. So. To you, @calumhoodless thanks a lot for wanting me to “learn to be happy for him one day,” but sweetie I already know how to be happy for people and I will be happy for Michael whenever he finds someone better and worthy of his time. Also, I won’t be keeping my comments to myself because this is my blog???? so if you don’t like my opinions then don’t follow me. In your words, “it’s that simple.” I will say whatever I want because I have the right to because it’s my own blog. I am not and will never send hate to people in the comments or DM’s or whatever because I’m not a dick lmao. And you’re right, it’s not every day you get engaged, but it’s not every day you’re in a toxic relationship either. You don’t have to celebrate an engagement when you don’t support the relationship? Lol. Last I recall, when I started following this band in like 2011, I didn’t sign a contract saying I had to support all relationships and be blindly loyal to them. So fuck you for saying I don’t support, love, or respect this band because I fucking do and I have for many many years. I don’t respect their CHOICES all the time and that’s OKAY because I’m allowed to have my own OPINION. So on that note. Halloween!5sos Night

You bite your lip to try and stop the smile growing across your face as you watch your husband try to fix your daughter’s costume. There was a frustrated pout on her face as she whined, “but, Daddy, I wanna go get more candy,” and Calum chuckled in response, “you can’t be a fairy princess without your wings, baby.” She merely huffs and crosses her arms, glaring at nothing in particular in front of her while Cal focused on fixing the wings from falling off her shoulders every few seconds. Once he was done, he stands up and says, “alright, c’mon let’s go,” with a squeeze to her shoulders. She squeals and begins skipping towards the door of the next house, making Cal chuckle as he turns around to you and reaches out for your hand.

“What are you so smiley about,” he asks, still smiling from your daughter’s excitement. You two walk just a few feet behind her and you shake your head, watching her small body bounce forward in front of you.

“Nothing, I just,” you pause, tearing your eyes away from her to look at Calum. He’s also watching her with a loving smile across his lips, making your heart warms at the sight. “I just really love you,” you say earnestly with a small squeeze to his hand. He turns and looks at you with a warm gaze, and you can feel a knot forming in your stomach at the soft look in his eyes. Even after all these years of being together he still has the exact same effect on you. 

“I love you too.” His eyes crinkle from the smile across his face and you can’t help but reciprocate the same expression. As all three of you reach the front door of the house, you lean down and place your hand on her back, “remember what we told you?”

She nods quickly with a high pitched hum, and jumps up to hit the doorbell on the side of the house. Soon the door opens, revealing an elderly couple, and your daughter says excitedly, “trick-or-treat!” They smile at her and hand her the bowl of candy. While she digs around the bowl, the wife glances up at you two and gives a small smile, “she’s beautiful.” Warmth spreads across your cheeks and Calum’s hand slides around the small of your waist, pulling you closer, and gives a sweet smile back with a quiet thank you. He presses his lips to the side of your head and mumbles into your ear in a voice so quiet and soft, only you could hear.

“They’re my whole world.”
