⭐ Research on nounpronouns and aliuspronouns ⭐

Hi! Do you use nounpronouns (i.e. pronouns such as flower/flowerself or 🌸/🌸-self, stemming from a noun), aliuspronouns (such as xe/xir, which differ from the canonical pronouns she/he/they/it, and do not fall under the umbrella of nounpronouns), or both? Are you 18 years or older and would you like to add to the scientific/linguistic understanding we have of these types of pronouns?

With my current paper I attempt to gain more understanding as to why people use these pronouns, and in which contexts they are used! The survey won't take more than 15 minutes to complete, and can be done in your own time! 🥰

Neopronoun user culture is having Neopronouns but not telling people what they are because they usually won’t remember to use them or care anyways because you also use ‘normal’ pronouns and it just kinda feels like that part of your identity is being snuffed out for other people’s sake

most names are either related to terminology used around guns and weaponry (richochet for example), types of guns (luger, heckler) or weapons/tools manufacturers (victoria from victorionox, or winchester) but a few of these have meanings worth mentioning

lance : from the first firearm, the fire lance, invented in chine in the 9th century

dirk : a kind of scottish knife (and not taken from anywhere else...)

pearl/hart : from pearl hart, bandit queen and gunslinger

hal/hallie : from halberd

mattia : an italian name, but in this context is one of the root words for mace
