Cannot scroll on Insta without running into bkdk/dkbk haters :(

It's gonna start another rant that I'm sure many bkdk/dkbk shippers have said before. So get ready and buckle up cuz here we go!!! >:)

(Btww, never said you have to like the ship, I just want to explain why I and others ship it, according to their development in the story)

Like I get some of the haters because of their experience wit the darker side of bkdk shippers (the fetishisation/romanticisation of bully x victim type shit like the power imbalance shit) and that's totally okay! People can be uncomfrotable bc of this and I'm not forcing anyone to like the ship. Everyone has opinions!

But I want to talk abt some of them who keep talkin abt how "Katsuki hates Izuku" and "He told him to off himself" shit like that. Yes, Katsuki has said horrible, painful things to Izuku. He's looked down on him for a long time and it was wrong. He admitted it was wrong. God knows the regret he feels for doing all those things to him.

But like, hello? Have you seen the rest of the anime/manga? Do you not know what they've gone through? How much they truly care for each other despite their disagreements and bitterness? Izuku's efforts to try and mend their relationship and preserve their connection despite Katsuki pulling away? Katsuki's realisation that he had been in the wrong?

Even as early as the turning point of season 3, you could see this connection between the two that went beyond this toxic relationship of a bully and victim. There was a true pain in Izuku's scream as he tried to save Katsuki.. and there was a true worry in Katsuki's eyes as he watched him run to him..

They're childhood friends. They're rivals. They push each other to be the best versions of each other. They complete each other.

"Save people to win.. and win to save people" right?

They care so much for each other, but have so much fear over opening up to each other. Katsuki afraid of looking weak, of needing help. Izuku afraid of being hurt again and even expecting to be hurt if he tries to connect again.

But in the end, they have each other's back.

And what's also great about it is you could interpret their relationship however you want! Whether it be platonic, romantic, whatever. But nothing changes that deep connection and love they have for each other. 💚🧡💚🧡

My thoughts + spoiler:

They animated Katsuki's crying so well it was so heartbreakinggg and the part where Katsuki's tears flood his vision of Izuku... He realises the boy he's done so much wrong to, the boy who has saved countless lives, has lost the thing that made his dream come true....

But I definitely liked the last part of the hospital scene in the manga better.. I just felt like it was more direct and intimate, I guess? Like them finally smiling at each other fondly... After so much hate, so much miscommunication, so much bitterness...

In the anime, they made it more like they're sharing the moment with All Might, which to be fair, he's in the same room with them. But like yk... In the manga it's like All Might is looking at them proudly, seeing how far they've come and they just smile at each other, glowing like, "yeah. We have come a long way, haven't we?"

I've just another small issue with this, even in the manga. All Might coming in with the "you guys grew up so much.." while they're kinda trying to have a moment, crying with each other. I guess there could've been more. More remorse, more comfort, more compassion, but I can't ask for more run time. And if there was more story with them, they probably could save the comfort and love aspect for later. Future development. Angst before fluff as some people say...

I would've loved a forehead touch, as a nod to Katsuki finally seeing Izuku as his equal, his match. As opposed to always putting his hand on his head and pushing him out of the way... It'd be a nice touch, I'm just saying.

That might be asking too much tho hehe.

Like no? It's not there because it's in chapter 431?? Which is more like an epilogue (and would require more runtime)... Which.. technically the manga ended at chapter 430... So that's why the final scene is that of chapter 430... Which doesn't include 431 guys 👍

⚠️WARNING: NEGAN CRITICISM!! SCROLL ALONG IF U DON'T WANNA READ!!⚠️

Um like. So I'm at the Negan part, right.. And I fucking hate the guy no offence like what the fuck bro this guy... Imma make a list of his gross actions in no particular order (SPOILERS FOR SEASON 7):

1. Killed Glenn. (Stop with tha annoying ass articles and shit about why it "was necessary")

2. Killed Abraham.

3. Has a harem of women (every one of them he took from his own men or other ways probs) and holds it very possessively.

4. Is shitty/weird around women in general.

5. Sadistic bro who gets off on torturing these peopel

6. Has this playful personality that he thinks makes him seem less shitty.

7. Um, kidnapped Daryl, Rick's puppy?!?!

8. Killed Spencer.

9. Made our baby Rick cry.

10. Made Arat kill Olivia.

11. Wraps everyone around his wrinkly ass bloody shitty finger because of this twisted ass idea of "saving" the world when he's just making it miserable for everyone by making it a dystopian kingdom that he's king of.

12. Played house and got his dirty wrinkly ass arms around Judith and held her like there was nothing wrong with it.

13. Carl.

Okay so yall know I love Carl I'm sorry. 🙏 This part is mostly my opinion on how he treated him during that one episode so idk if everyone will agree with me. I know that Negan was never a pdffile or anything like that but a bunch of his behaviour was weird around the boy anyway, so um...

First off, he brings Carl to his harem with the lots of wives and legit told him he was allowed to "make himself comfortable" and proceeds to give him a bottle of alcohol or some sort. Like, I'm sorry Carl's like what? 15??? Why are you influencing him like this?! It's like taking a teen boy to a brothel or a bar bro stop this 🙏

Second off, he brings Carl to his bedroom and I was already scared to death for ma boi. But nothing happened thankfully, Negan just sat him down on a table next to the bed. Then he talks to him in ways that made me uncomfy to say the least, especially when you forget the context. For example (I'm paraphrasing here so I might get exact words wrong, but I DID just watch the episode yesterday):

Negan: "I feel like I'm talking to a birthday present! Get that thing off, kid, I wanna see what Grandma got me!"

Or

Negan: "Woah! Woah, THAT is gross! I wanna touch it! Can I touch it? (While laughing and shit)"

Context: Negan was asking Carl to take off his eyepatch so he can see his shot eye.

But still I hate it bro help whyyyy and it being set in Negan's bedroom makes it so much worse I hate him so much aaaaaaa 😭😭😭

I kindly ask for you all, as a fellow creator of art (music, visual, and others), to not use AI for your album/EP covers/book covers. I understand that it may be hard to find an artist to draw covers, but many have already found great alternatives to this. You can use photographs, collages, lettering, or even a drawing you made yourself! You can add so much personal touch to album covers that makes them unique! You don't need to find expensive artists to draw your cover if that isn't an option, let alone make a robot "draw" the cover for you. The cover is supposed to reflect YOU. YOUR personal tastes. YOUR music/writing/art.

We are all creators of art, we all love making things that help us get in touch with our emotions—hopes, dreams, fears, anger, sadness, etc. That is why I am asking you, musicians, and writers and others...

PLEASE NEVER use AI to take away the creative possibilities in how you create your album covers/book covers.

MISPRONOUNCED WORDS AND NAMES IN GENSHIN

1. Neuvillette

I cannot stop hearing Paimon's echoing voice in my head saying, "NURV-illette" over and over again. Let me clarify that the "Neu" is approximately "Nuu," so it's pronounced "NUU-villette."

2. Clorinde

I hear many times in English or when English speakers try to speak the "in" in French, they end up saying "and," so Clorinde is often called "clor-AND" when it's meant to be pronounced approx. "CLO-rawn-duh" in French. Though maybe English speakers may have trouble sounding this and just wanna say "and" I dunno.

3. Tighnari

I swear, this guy's name gets mispronounced all the time, even in the official game. He's named after the Andalusian agronomist, Al-Tighnari and his name is pronounced "TIGh-nari." You sound the g but it's a bit guttural. It's not "TIE-nari," or "THIGH-nari." (Cyno pun moment)

4. Tartaglia

This name is meant to be Italian, so Gs are silent. It's pronounced "Tar-TA-lia."

5. When Oz says "mein fräulein"

This one is epic actually. Fischl's bird, Oz, calls her "mein fräulein" as "main froy-line." Which, he says "fräulein" alright enough but completely flips up on the "mein." In German, "ei" is approximately "Ai," so he should pronounce it more like "mine froy-line."

6. Lyney

I feel like this is more of a nitpick, "Lyney" is probably a respelling of "Lynet," which is pronounced "Li-nay," as opposed to Lyney's "Lih-knee." (Lynet is also still a girl's name and is just a different version of his twin's name "Lynette" I don't know if they were going for that.)

7. Hexenzirkel

They pronounce the "z" as it is in English which is inaccurate to German's pronounciation "ts". If I had to correct it, "Hexenzirkel," "Hek-sen-tsiya-kuhl."

8. Citlali

The new Natlan character, Citlali, has a Nahuatl name that's pronounced "see-CHAL-lee," Not "sit-LA-lee".

9. Al-Haitham

This depends on the region, could be pronounced, "Al-HEY-tam" or "Al-HIGH-tham." But either way, the "Al" is not pronounced like ahl, more like AAhl. Dunno if that makes sense.
