Forgot to put these here. Some warmup sketches I did over the weekend!
Something I did based on my favourite Series 2 episodes of Danger Mouse, "Lost Tempers in Space", but as a twist, I added two of my OCs in, Zip (The blue suited mouse) and Zug (The tall skinny one in the background). Man, the effort I put into art these days. -w-
Sanc style. Had to draw it before I forgot about it.
Jeopardy Mouse x Male Reader
Turning over the address card in your hand, you glanced at it one more time. This was definitely the place, though it'd be kinda hard to miss considering it was one of the taller structures in the city. You pressed the intercom button and there was a few seconds of crackling static before it cleared up.
"Um..hello?" you called.
A woman's voice replied back,an air of exasperation in her tone.
"You the roommate guy they sent?" she asked.
"Yes, that's me. Erm.. I have a bunch of clearance stuff they issued me to,you know, prove I'm who I said I am. Documents, a security code.. they also fingerprinted me and stuff at the briefing."
There was a short silence before the tall, steel doors slid open and let you into a small lobby. All it had in it was another set of doors, though these looked like they were for an elevator. To the right of the doors was a small panel and another com just under it. Your host's voice came through it.
"Do a retina scan at that panel right in front of you and it should let you in. l'll meet you once you get to the top."
You put your suitcase aside and bend down awkwardly to the scanner. Whoever lived here had to be a decent amount shorter than you, but then again you were considered tall for your species. A blue beam shone out and cascaded down before disappearing. Two beeps sounded in quick succession before the elevator opened up.
On the ride up your tail flicked nervously. It went without saying you were grateful for an offer like this; living rent-free in a fancy apartment and all you had to do was act as a sort of companion for the lady who lived here. Still, through the whole process from the initial phone call you received to the top-secret briefing, it was hard not to feel skeptical at best that it might be too good to be true.
A tone played as you reached the top and the door whooshed open to reveal a huge living room. Before your eyes could take in everything a voice came from below you. A doe mouse with dark indigo hair had her hand out and a firm, expectant look in her eyes.
"Papers. Hurry up, I've got stuff to do."
"Rude." You thought to yourself but brushed it off. Three months was a long time and it'd probably be best not to make any trouble so early into your stay. After fumbling around in your bag you felt the wrinkled papers and pulled them out. She took and flipped through them, scanning the pages carefully and starting to walk away.
"Follow me." she said, beckoning behind her. You picked up your suitcase and did so, looking all around as the two of you headed up the stairs and down one of the hallways. Not bothering to look up from the documents, her hand pointed and gestured at a few different rooms.
"So that's the guest room; it doesn't get used much so its basically brand new. Its got whatever you could possibly want, consoles, flatscreen, adjustable bed, things like that. Across the way is your bathroom, down that ways' the laundry room. I have a maid for that so be sure your clothes are ready for pickup outside your door every Monday and Thursday.."
She droned on coldly for a bit longer and kept a brisk walking pace all the while. You were sort of half-listening but mostly just letting it all sink in. One thing you noted was how small she was, and not just in height. You didn't know many rodents personally so you didn't have much to compare her to, but her figure was very lithe and abit athletic.
Suppose you kinda had to be fit to be a secret agent. Her occupation and achievements were pretty much all you knew about her, though the ambiguity was probably the whole point in that line of work. She was in a plain fuschia shirt and expensive-looking pajama bottoms as opposed to the getup you'd seen her wear in photos shown during your briefing. Without the boots, gloves, and a particular camera angle, she probably scraped five foot five.
Your neck ached a bit since you had to sort of crane it downward to see where she was leading you. All you could see was the top of her head, which you tracked carefully in case she decided to stop suddenly. The last thing you wanted was to embarrass yourself by bumping into her. Suddenly she paused in front of a door that had a 'J' embellished on it in fancy, shiny script.
"This is my room." she said, her large dark eyes trained on yours. "I like my peace and quiet, so it's off limits. Pretty hard to miss so there's no way you could mistake it for anyplace else." She thought for a moment then tucked your papers under her arm.
"Alright, I skimmed your background check and everything seems to be in order. The agency INSISTS we refer to each other on a first name basis, so you can call me Sarah."
You tell her your name and the two of you exchange an almost robotic handshake.
"Pleasure to meet you" she says. I've gotta do some work on the supercomputer downstairs, so feel free to go unpack and make yourself at home. According to the program we're required to at minimum have meals together, so breakfast is at 6 AM tomorrow. Don't be late, kid."
Before you could ask anything she quickly trotted back the way you had come and down the stairs. Honestly you couldn't tell what to make of her besides the fact that she seemed to be all business. "It's literally the first night, don't be so judgemental" you scolded yourself quietly.
In a way this could be considered a vacation, so besides your frigid host it'd almost be wrong to complain. You still had to work your crummy shifts at your crummy job so you wouldn't end up sitting around all day, but you'd get to come home to a posh,teched-out penthouse every night.
Waaaaay back, like years ago, I did a paper sketch of my take on a genderbent Jeopardy. Haven't drawn her in awhile, so I decided to dust of the sketch, clean it up digitally and put some color on it. Honestly its good for a first go-round but this is considered his 'drafted' look because I already know I wanna make changes to his design.
Art from a decent while ago, decided to do a separate blog for mature stuff
Anyone who says overalls aren't high fashion is a normie.
Also this is my first tradtional art in a while, so it didn't turn out too bad.

Some dumb headcanon of mine that Jeopardy's natural hair color isn't "Sonic's Ashes" blue and she's got hella freckles that she covers up since she considers them an imperfection.
