The older man sipped his coffee in silence, hardly paying attention to anyone around him. He’s never been much of a people person to begin with and the events he went through in the recent years has only strengthened that.

This was some nice coffee though. Maybe he should ask what kind of beans they use.

@jeremiahmostwanted {❤️}; It had been a rather rough week for the god at work and he needed to take a long break. Normally, he would drive back home, but being the workaholic he was, he also knew he would spend the rest of the evening trying to make new designs for is boutique and so, he decides to spend his night at a bar he happened to pass by. However, he immediately regretted it as it was also full of so many people and he had forgotten that it was a weekend and many were also just starting their week off to relax by drowning themselves with alcohol or small talk with strangers. He sighs and noticed an open seat beside a male. Carefully, he walks up to him and gently taps on the other's shoulder. "Is this seat taken by chance? I'm afraid there is no other spots elsewhere..."

As nice as Gryphon usually acted, today was just a bad day for him. Last night was one without much sleep, so he hoped to be able to catch some sleep during the day. However this stranger was definitely not supposed to be here. Making the Griffin quite unhappy.

“ And I thought I could sneak out without having to see anyone. Next time I’ll just fly and avoid the ground. ... Anyways, you human? “

She was supposed to be insulting him, so why was he laughing? And why did him calling her sweetheart piss her off?

The best thing about a larger city was that it generally meant a larger library, and with a larger library it meant more things that Rias had yet to read.

Of course, this being an entirely brand new world for her everything in it was likely to be new, but that hadn’t stopped her from getting a little overexcited and grabbing armfuls of books from the history section to carry up to a table on the second floor.

It was nice up there, she could look down over the rest of the library, and that made Rias feel infinitely more safe since she couldn’t exactly openly carry a sword with her.

Unfortunately the pile was a little bit on the tall side, and a bit unbalanced, so when Rias went to sit down at her leg bumped the leg of the table... It was almost inevitable that the tower of books would tip and start to fall.

Yelping she shot out to try to grab them, but the opposite ended up happening: Rias pushed the stack farther, and several thick history books went falling over the edge of the railing. She shot up from her chair fast enough that it went falling over, hurrying to the railing to watch them fall.
