At the time of the First World War, there was a thriving community along the edge of the Ouseburn in Jesmond Vale.  Keeper of Art Sarah Richardson blogs about Jesmond Vale Peace Tea, which was held on Wednesday August 13th 1919 to celebrate the Peace Treaty at the end of the war.

Have been messing around with some time-lapse software and rustled this up. It was taken on the top of the tunnel of the Coast Road in Newcastle. I have looped it a few times and trimmed it to reduce shake every 5 seconds. A picture was taken every 15 seconds for about 20 minutes. Looking forward to making some more!
