"Playing music, it’s a beautiful part of life. You try to travel and play music and have it as a support system financially, it’s a very difficult thing to do in the United States. There’s no government support of it like there is, you know, in other countries like Canada, or Norway and Sweden so it’s a very difficult thing to do in the United States. I don’t know what else I would do though, that’s what I’m passionate about, that’s what I love. I will never stop making music. I feel like people in the United States need to realize that the way things are going, it’s becoming more and more difficult for musicians to really exist and I think it’s a terrible thing to sweep the arts under the rug, you know? There’s a lot of management companies that I’ve heard telling bands to put on a persona that they make money, you know, they need roadies and they need people to set up their instruments for them on stage so that they appear to be like they’re making it and I think that that’s bullshit. I think that people need to know the state of the industry and we’re musicians that carry our own instruments and I feel like that’s the way it should be anyways. You need to have a connection with your instrument. You need to set up your amp, your pedals, like, that’s what it’s all about."
