Marcel had been sitting with one of the many men who served him in the French Quarter when he looked up. A smile formed upon his lips. "Jesse Reeves," He spoke her names. "Aren't you a sight for sore eyes." He turned his sight back to the young man across from him. "Mercutio, take a walk."
The younger vampire nodded to Marcel's words and rose from his seat. He offered Jesse his seat before leaving. Marcel kept his eyes upon her. "I must say it is quite the surprise to see you here in the French Quarter."

It’s so hard to pick just one. All of Lestat’s relationships are so complex and convoluted. But how on earth can I deny the LouisxLestat feels? It’s the ship that refuses to quit. They’ve stood the test of time,that’s for sure.

LestatxClaudia. I’ve never seen this done in the fandom but I saw the barest hints of it in QOTD and other various places in the chronicles and it just squicks me out. Also not a big fan of LestatxMarius

Is there anyone Lestat hates to their core? I am pretty he’s both despised and loved every single one of those he holds dear, Armand, Nicolas, Louis, Marius, Claudia—everyone. The only one who might be an exception to that is David, I don’t think they have a lot of beef with each other.
But the one being Lestat’s hatred for him outweighs any positive feelings might be Magnus. Or Raglan James.

I’m going to assume this means that if any of the canon characters suddenly became kids, which one would Lestat want to adopt. Louis, of course. Endless fun to be had there. Maybe Lestat could raise him to be not so morose.
