Hello

I haven’t written up a real update in a long while now, but there have at least been a few bits here. Felt like putting up a few sentences here and on DA I’m still around! And drawing as I’m able, since all that nonsense a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, I’m still having issues with eye strain. It’s been over a month with it continuing to reoccur, and I get all paranoid, so I stop gaming and drawing when it kicks back in, so blar. Leaves me with way less progress, and way more boredom when I’m not doodlin’. Really hope I can find a solution for this sometime, because this is beyond annoying, and gets outright painful sometimes. 

ANYWAY. Still around. Got a little bit of time off. Gonna try and doodle, or maybe stick something on the PS4, but no idea what yet! I’ll be lurking around though. Feel free to bug, or something. Hahaha

Smallish updates

So I keep wanting to draw, but I’m gonna make myself take a small break... at least a couple days here. I keep straining my eyes focusing on the screen, and as much as I wanna make and share thingies, and have stuff to show for my time, I want my eyes to stop hurting as much, too. 

Will be back with dumb things in a bit, I hope! In the meantime, I still have some compilation posts of my art from the months coming up. Aaaaaaand some more thoughts:

I keep digging into SWRPG content and art online, and it’s a lot of fun to wonder about.

I actually have some ideas for the Fantasy Setting that I wanna chase! Woo! I don’t honestly think I’m a good enough artist to draw much of them, but I wanna try anyway.

I’m surprised at all the followers the new version of the NSFW blog has already. Thanks, and sorry for spamming all the TerrorPics! It’ll be a lot more gradual from here onward.

I started playing Horizon: Zero Dawn again after being pulled away from it for a longggggggg time. MAN is that game nice to play. I love the feel of all the motion, and there’s still no game that did archery better in my opinion. So fun. Plus, who doesn’t wanna be a super cool athletic badass lady? I would!

I sorta miss feeling like I was part of the world more. Sometimes it just seems like I’m so far off in my own corner where nobody’s at, and it gets a little depressing. Sorta lonely, I guess. At least on sites like here and DA and more. I just sorta exist, and I see other people, but it feels like... super distant. Dunno. Just ramblin’!

I haven’t done a “Check out these blogs!” post in a lonnggggggg time here. Would anyone be interested to find out the sorts of things that interested me around the site? Or in recommendations for certain things, like artists, or just stuff that I find entertaining, etc.?

[September 3rd, 2018 Updates]

Whoops, missed the first! Well, better late than never. It's update-time! First of all, I'm back from my trip! Got back about a week ago, really. I had a lot of fun, and I already super-miss hanging out with @obscure-repository .  But that just means I'm already ready for hangout #2! We watched Red Dwarf and Impractical Jokers and a bunch of dumb funny movies, full LPs of a few classics, and played clear through a handful of games... and we made SO MUCH FOOD. It was awesometimes. hahaha I even managed a few pics on my trip! That was fun. It felt like a weird mix of things, and I see that most people around here didn't care for much of it, BUT I STILL HAD FUN and am happy with the bit of productivity. Especially because I've got nothinggggggggggggg going since I got back. Just absolutely dry on my own ideas. Super stalled. Whoops! I do hope I can fall into something fun to draw again soon, though! I just have no idea when, and I don't wanna stress myself too hard trying to force something... but I wanna, too. Stupid double-edged swords... Hahaha Some other things! I got, played, and loved Yakuza Kiwami 2. I feel like two small things right at the end were slightly worse/jarring changes, but every other change or upgrade was very welcome and fun. It's a super faithful remake to one of my all time favorite games, and it's now sitting comfortably on that short list of them, in place of the PS2 original. Also got the new Alice In Chains CD. It feels super on-par with the last, which I enjoyed and had grow on me a lot as I kept enjoying it, too, so woo! ...what else... Hmm. I guess I don't have much. Just been kinda picking at small things, playing a bit of game, working, and wanting to draw again. Also probably annoying a bunch of people and warding away online-friends. As always. Hahaha

JesterDK August Updates!

Hello again, everyone! I know this is a day early, but I wanted to stick it up anyway before I forgot. hahaha I'm all boring still, so I don't know if I have all that much to update on here, but there are a few big things! Here we gooooo! 1- It's been super hot lately here. That sucks. And in a house without AC, it's made it harder to get artwork done. Hours have been much more limited. Got a couple things in these last couple weeks, though! 2- There's a chance that my last upload of Cat from Red Dwarf might be my last upload for a while. It may not be still, but it could be! I only have like one day off in my next 9 or so, and that makes it trickier to find enough time! After that, #3! 3- I'm taking my trip to Ireland on the 10th! I'm excited. I've never been out of the country before, and I'm super excited to go hang out a ton with my best of frands, @obscure-repository !  It's a lot of sitting on a plane to get there... but it's gonna be worth it! I'll be back on the 25th, but I'm sure I'll be popping up online throughout the trip, too. 4- August is going to be expensive! Plane tickets are already bought, but with the trip, Yakuza Kiwami 2, a new Alice In Chains album, and 8 days going into my paycheck for the month, I may feel it. Yay @ having savings. Hahaha ...anyway, that's about it! Interesting things ahead, even if it all adds up to me not uploading as much for the month, too. I hope everyone else has an awesome month, too!
