Following for the Muath awareness. We need more. ❤️
Thank you. I’ll deliver to the best of my ability and as efficiently as my backed up Jordanian internet connection will allow. <3
& just for anyone who doesn’t know what’s going on:
Muath AlKasasbeh is a Jordanian pilot who has been a war prisoner held hostage by ISIS/ISIL/IS for the past few months. Yesterday his death was announced when ISIS released a 22 minute video of Muath trapped in a cage surrounded by stone-faced ISIS soldiers as they burned him to death.
In complete HD, the terrorist group weaved in sound effects and music to drown out his screams. He was 26 years old. Had been married for 5 months. His pregnant widow and parents are now grieving and deserve our prayers and thoughts most of all.
The nation of Jordan has been in a state of mourning over the martyr. Peaceful protests against ISIS have been active in Muath’s hometown of Karak in the south of Jordan. The call to prayer from mosques sounded with church bells in his honor today all over the country.
What can you do?Spread awareness. Be educated on the matter.
Don’t forget that Palestinian citizens tweeted to Ferguson residents how to survive tear gas attacks.
Don’t forget the Arab leaders that marched in France last month.
Don’t forget that we are all still human and this was a terrorist attack. The victim is still human, no matter his nationality.
Don’t forget who the real enemy is.
Last month we were all #Charlie. Now we must stand together and be #Muath.
Jordan lost a brave soldier, a true embodiment of pride and honor He was standing, burned alive but standing, mocking the face of these ugly parasites. He sent us a message, never to kneel and be afraid, your days are numbered, you opened your so called seven gates of hell on yourselves. Jordan will never forget this da, and we will unite against all sorts of terrorism. May you rest in peace Mu'ath #IamMuath #كلنا_معاذ #jesuismuath (at Jabal Amman, Rainbow Street)
