FOR REAL THO. This generation is too hipster haha. I like cheesy books sometimes because they make me feel like people understand me and my personality lol
SAME plus sometimes you need a book where you know how things are gonna turn out, you know? it's comforting

In all honesty though I sometimes wonder if people even read book descriptions anymore. Or when people dislike a book because one part made them uncomfortable but was true to the story like uM…what are you EVEN SAYING HERE
YEAH i mean it's one thing if you think the story was poorly done but so many of these reviews that i see are like 'because this book isn't some Genre Defying Grand Literature it is The Literal Worst' and it's like come on just bc it follows some cliches of the genre doesn't automatically make it awful. not every book needs to be genre defying and 100000% original.

PREACH.
i gotta wonder what kind of lives these people are living where they read books that are blatantly focused on a romantic relationship and then complain about the fact that it's focused on a romantic relationship

My moms church still does this so..yes
ngl i love stumbling across these things which are oddly common
Sadly people are doing this. I was on World Visions Facebook page telling people please not to drop the sponsorships and they are like NO THEY ARENT CHRISTIAN ANYMORE I AM NOT GIVING THEM MY MONEY. Im like how dare you. It makes me want to cry and I'm sure God is just so upset at us right now..
Sorry for taking so long to reply!
I was hoping that might just be some internet rumor. It breaks my heart that people would do this! How can people say that they can no longer support World Vision because they are now “non-Christian” when the very act of canceling a sponsorship, cutting off the money and support to innocent children who need their help the most is possibly the most unchristian thing you could do! I can’t imagine being a volunteer who has to go to a family and inform them that their sponsorship of their child is being canceled all because of such a tiny thing. :(
