With a playful nudge to the females side, and a quiet snicker, he kept his eyes on the horror movie playing on the television screen in front of them. Pressing a closed fist to his mouth to keep himself from chuckling anymore then he already was since the start. What happened to all those authentic scary movies? None of this was even remotely terrifying to him in the slightest.

Did you always want the job you have right now⁈

I didn’t know what I wanted, honestly. I was a lost cause kind of floating through life. Probably because of the little confidence I had, not to mention me being a very shy person. I probably would have wanted to do something simple and lowkey. Something that matched my personality better. Though I am very much happy where I am today.
